Blessing of the Seasons is trash

Please change this ability blizzard. Please.

Even if you have to nerf the numbers, just make it a rotating group buff, not this trash, non-impactful, and unimpressive ability. It’s such a cool idea, which is why I picked night fae in the first place, but I feel like I should’ve just went Venthyr for how easy Ashen Hollow is.

Druid’s get to just throw all their spells in an area, monks get that cool fae line aoe stomp, and death knights even get a blue swirly death and decay, which isn’t super cool, but still cooler and more fun than this.

It’s an absolute chore having to manage the buffs, and even with perfect management, you were probably better off going a different covenant.

Just make it cool. Or easier. Or fing anything different. I don’t want to change covenants. I like not being a wheelchair with the night fae. Please just rework this or something. F.

I definitely should’ve from the beginning.

I completely agree, Night fae class ability is Thrash at the moment compared to other abilities.
I have chosen Night Fae as a holy paladin for the Blessing of season ability. I like to buff as in the good old days when we had several blessings to use.
I’m really thinking to swap to Kyrian.
After doing couple of dungeons and thorghast, I have to face it. In the current design of holy paladin, divine toll is just to good to pass on. The metrics confirm it. About 75%-90% paladins are Kyrian, 90% for Holy Paladins.
At least, I hope they fix blessing of winter or autumn…soon, I mean in the upcoming weeks. Not going to wait the next big patch or to be renown level 20+ to swap to Kyrian.

Blessing of winter description says on “theirs attacks” and it does not. It only applies debuff on the one, targeted enemy, which make it feel not good (to try to hit one by one enemies for a little 3% debuff), and not useful unless for a boss, which then I prefer other blessings like Blessing of spring. For instance, it would have been fun to use shield of righteous aoe like a thunderclap, but no it does not…
I don’t know if it is intended or not for blessing of winter to act this way, but in the other hand, blessing of summer do proc on all targets…

Blessing of autumn feels bad. At first, you think it really reduces total remaining cooldown by 30%. For example, hammer of justice CD starts at 45 secs or Avenging wrath at 1min32secs. When the blessing runs off, the reduction is added back to the time left, which is…not great at all…to see. It does only remove 9 seconds on big cooldowns…
It is OK for smaller cooldowns (less than 30secs) though, again not meaningful enough (actually you really do not notice the impact of the buff at all) to justify the use over other abilities. Furthermore, you lose a GCD to cast the buff. In a fight, it can be risky to cast it since, you lose healing throughput for a short while.

On top of that, even the ability (potency) conduit “long summer” is trash compared to others that all increases damage/healing throughput. “Long summer” only add couple of seconds on blessing of summer duration (which is 25% of the class ability, 1 blessing out of 4)…It is not fun to increase 25% of 25%, so 6.25% in total! …not even close to “Ringing clarity 40% extra cast chance”, Ashen Hallow 40% extra dmg/healing on two targets, or Vanquisher hammer 20% dmg increase and self healing). These other convenant conduits affect the whole ability throughput…not only 25% of 25% of it, 6.25% total ! “Long summer” conduit should increase duration (or/and effectiveness) of all blessings.

It can be a bit clunky to use, but it’s definitely not “trash”. The buffs are very strong. I think people are getting upset because it doesn’t have a big immediate feedback like the other three abilities do. The effects are supposed to usually be placed on others, so it’s more of a support type of ability, which most WoW players hate.

It’s just that it’s incredibly awkward to use. The usecase is difficult because you can’t always guarantee you’ll have the correct buff up when you need it. Any benefit, to me, is outweighed by that huge drawback. Even if they nerf Kyrian into oblivion, I will never go NF for ret.

ive used the ability in pvp since the start of the xpac and i love it all the buffs are great tho id prefer a change to the winter one other then that all of them are powerful when used on yourself i find.
