Anyone using this and how?
Do you just cast on yourself as soon as it’s available and alternate between buffs?
Im mainly pvp healing, should i add this to my spec or it has more uses in other content?
Use it on a DPS player with all their cooldowns running. Don’t use on pet classes as pet dmg doesn’t proc it.
Blessings of Seasons is pretty good value for the 1 talent point, which is only going to get better in the patch when Winter changes to a mana regen.
You’ll want to use this with every spec, especially in PvP come Tuesday with the changes. So best to get used to pressing the button.
Blessing of Summer
- Adds damage to allies attacks, this is very good for fast hitting allies such as Rogues and DH. But basic assumption is you just cast it on the DPS.
Blessing of Autumn
- Adds cooldown reduction to your abilities, this is very good to cast on yourself when you are playing melee wings because it reduces the cooldown on Judgement and CS, along with all your other abilities.
- Usually cast this on yourself, but Spriest/Mages are good targets aswell as they also are very cooldown dependant.
Blessing of Spring
- Adds healing received and healing output, this is decent just to add some passive healing output and I think it still helps healing from Beacon, so just gives you more self healing as well.
- This can also be good for hybrids such as Ret or Shaman, who rely heavily on heals for survivability, using this on them before being CC’d could be life saving.
Blessing of Winter
- On Tuesday, this is changed to give back 15% mana, which is huge for Paladins. You will want to cast this on yourself as much as possible.
Since Blessing of Seasons cycles, usually you want to keep this on cooldown as much as possible and not “sit on” any particular buff for too long.
Yeah really hate that they did this to Blessing of Seasons during the SL beta.
It was so much cooler when you could cycle it with it’s 30s duration and 15s cooldown, so you could essentially cancel buffs you didn’t really need early in order to prepare other ones for when when you would want them.
Instead they just made it a boring button you press on cd with no real interaction.
With Ret for example in SL, due to being unable to cycle the buffs, Blessing of Summer would only synch with wings every 6 minutes (which I guess would also be true to Holy as well up until they reduce AC’s cd).
It was a sad day when they made that decision
Yeah, i found weird the cd is bigger than the buff duration, adding to the fact you might not want a certain buff, you need 3 min to cycle through buffs
