Blessing of Freedom Macro Help

Keeping in mind the pvp talent Unbound Freedom I was wondering if a macro could be created that would do the following:

  1. Cast Blessing of Freedom on my target.
  2. If no target exists, target nearest friendly player.
  3. If no target or no nearest player, target self. (This is the default action of the ability it seems so maybe no line needed for this?)

Just trying to make it more efficient in random BGs or Yolos to get more use out of it.

If efficiency is your goal, this kind of macro may not be your answer. Constantly retargeting allies is clunky and resets your swing timer. For battlegrounds, a mouseover macro is probably better.

I thought that the targetfriendplayer command doesnt actually drop targeting?

I was just about to say the samething none of my focus target or arena 1,2,3 macros actually drops targets. As for the macro you looking for I can’t help with that I just copy other people’s macros online.

I set up arena macros for this, not really the same as you’re looking for but you can set for party 1, party 2, and just key bind different

I was under the impression it behaved differently than @focus, @arena1 etc etc. I think a mouseover is still likely better than just casting on the nearest target.
