"Blessing" Cursed Souls in Torghast gives -1% Stamina per Soul Remant, how is this a "Blessing"

“Soul Remnant’s Blessing is Significantly empowered, However every blessing you receive also lower’s your Stamina by 1%”

Why would a blessing give -HP or negative anything for that matter, its a “Blessing”, that we also have spent tower knowledge to acquire, yet it gives a negative stat. I understand that you’re making yourself stronger, more of a glass cannon, but come on, its supposed to be a “Blessing”, not a torment.

Multiple powers in Torghast give a buff with a negative attached, and that buff gives a significant buff for a relatively minor negative.

That negative which can also be completely negated with one rank of enduring souls in the box of many things, which without that blessing is a plain 1% stamina buff per soul, and with that blessing is just more power with no negative.
