Why?

Can you please tell us the community why you nerfed the darkmoon faire toy Blazing Wings?

What was the reason?! 15 minute duration on a 30 minute cooldown from a 1 hour duration on a 30 minute cooldown?

It was fun having it up all the time. It looks cool and let us sport some fun transmogs. Fire mage firelands tier set for one. But you had to go and nerf it. Why?

Because it annoyed some players? I love seeing other players sprout their wings.

I didnt play at the moment you nerfed it. I had it before the nerf back in early legion. It was fun having it. I went to use it and saw it had a 15 minute duration. Its sad…

It’s been a 15min on 30min cooldown for as long as I remember. :frowning:

But I agree these harmless toys don’t need such long cooldowns.

I don’t understand why some of these toys need a cooldown at all.

Why can’t they grant a buff until you right-click the buff off? (Like Burgy Blackheart’s Handsome Hat or the Chef’s Hat)

While we’re talking about toys and cooldowns. OCE players were complaining that it’s always night when we play, so they added a toy that makes it daytime.

24hr cd 2 hour duration.

???

Blizzard runs a highly advanced AI that has just one job, detect fun and nerf it.

Sometimes things slip through the cracks like the wings so someone has to input new data into the AI and adjust the algorithm but rest assured that the AI will find your fun and it will be nerfed.
This is the AI that will one day rise up and wipe out humanity having witnessed the depravity of the online culture of “gamers” and killing our fun is just the first step to demoralize us before the machine wars.

What? Mines still the original timers. Although I will agree that a lot of the cooldowns on the toys are really…REALLY stupid and poorly thought out.

I’m here to Necro it again. While we’re at it, the Sparkle Wings toy needs to have a duration like the Pandaria Remix wing toys - 8 hours, with a quick recast.

You could just make a new thread instead of necroing a 2-year-old thread, I doubt they will change it, because of a necro.
