Blazing Drake and Dragon Soul

Blazing Drake is the last drake I need for Awake the Drakes. I’m committed to running Dragon Soul every week for it on multiple toons. But oh my fel magicing God. The amount of RP you have to sit through in Dragon Soul is absurd.

I think I’ve memorized every piece of dialogue in it. Every boss has a timegate/RP scene behind starting it, or its a waves fight. My dream come true would be for Blizzard to allow the option for a dialogue skipping mode where we can just do the raid without having to wait for the lore we already know.

Every Tuesday, gentlemen. Every tuesday. I will have this drake.

I’m so zen when I do DS now, the spine doesn’t even bother me anymore… You can honestly just tab out while you wait for the bloods to spawn.

i am in the same exact boat - i’ve told my friend i wish they’d drop an NPC to bring you to the end if you’ve done it before like they did with Jaina

On the up side, you are at least able to do it. I cannot get the mechanics right for love nor money. Nor dragon.

I literally just cashed in my one and only easy/lucky rare mount drop. Nine attempts at Dragon Soul and it drops for me and with it the Awake the Drakes achievement. I will never be this lucky again.

I’m torn between going for the Lifebinders Handmaiden and Experiment 11B mounts or moving on to the next challenge, ICC and Invincible…without the lockout trick.

Edit: I also agree, way too much RP in this raid. If theres going to be RP in a raid then it should be a skippable cutscene.

I got pretty lucky with blazing drake and life binder’s handmaiden, the experiment still eludes me however.

I used to do every fight but madness on heroic, just for more gold

But you can’t swap difficulty now, so gotta full clear on normal :frowning:

Can confirm that I just got the Blazing Drake on Heroic so you can do full heroic clears for the extra gold and chance at the other two Dragon Soul mounts.

Good luck to you. It took me some thing like 400+ attempts(can’t remember the actual number any more).

Spine is bad. I do not want to do it and it is last one I need too.

Blazing can show up on the BMAH, if it does just do that and take the merciful way out.

I share your pain. It’s the last drake I need too. As if the spine fight wasn’t annoying enough, the majority of the raid IS waiting for npcs to shut up :frowning:

Blazing is also the last Drake I need for the Achieve. Alas dyspraxia prevents me from being able to competently complete Spine. :cry:

Blizz plz add a skip to end mechanic. Thanks.

Today I learnt something new! Also add a skip for everything pre WoD. Give these souls who toil within these encounters the justice they deserve!

Lemme tell you it’s really bad for me. I can’t even operate a vehicle because of it. D: I have to walk everywhere I want to go or ask family/friends to take me further distances.

How awful. People don’t realize the impact these things can have on people. I would imagine that playing WoW is quite a bit more difficult than for most people. My hat is off to you.
