This is the first time I have done the Blasted Lands since Cata hit many years ago. I find myself bouncing back and forth between timelines(prior to invasion/after invasion) trying to complete quests not remembering which quest is part of which timeline. As I missing something here? Should I need to bounce back and forth between timelines to complete the Blasted Lands quests or just stick to one timeline? Thanks
It’s been a while since I’ve done it, but some of the Cata quests may still show up in the WoD (default) timeline as the WoD stuff only covers part of the zone so may not affect phasing for things like the Worgen and BE camps. (Again, though, it’s been a while some I’m not sure of it.)
If you’re trying to do the Cata quests, have the NPC set it before the invasion and you should be able to do all of the Cata quests. If you’re trying to do the WoD stuff, it’s pretty linear, so if you see any “!” on the edge of your map, you’re likely being derailed.
The achievement just applies to the Cata quests, if that’s your goal, set the timeline pre-invasion.

Thanks for the clarification. I was just looking to level and complete quests and get the achievement. Having to jump back and forth between timelines has gotten confusing. LOL
