I hear both sides, but I am having the same problem. I am looking under custom and questing for Blanchy groups, and there are none. So no, it’s not under 5 minutes, I’ve been looking for groups at the location of the spawn for almost a half hour now. So it’s not always that simple.

Hey just want to put my personal experience in. I JUST now did the LFG as suggested. There was 1. And no, the people on here are wrong thinking LFG makes any difference. It ONLY matters IF someone witnesses Blanchy spawn THEN starts a group for others.
When I joined the group, we just sat there…and sat there…and sat there. Fortunately the raid leader noticed someone posting a new group that “Blanchy is here” THEN join that group. Otherwise you aren’t getting squat and might as well wait.
LFG only works if Blanchy spawns on a server AND someone is there to stop the horse AND someone has the decency to start a group for others to join.

Yes. That is when people create groups. That is the purpose of finding a Blanchy group. 
Then you should have left and found a group that said Blanchy was up.
That is what everyone was doing months ago.
Blanchy doesn’t spawn at the same time across all servers…
Just use group finder I never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

The Blanchy rush is over so it’s going to take more time when using LFG.
I got it done towards the tail-end of the rush so a couple days it took 30-ish minutes to get it.
Time of day matters too. Off-peak hours are going to be far less likely to find a group.
my guess is they found a group and where not able to whisper him do to cross realm whisper bugs or something lol

Assuming players have the spawn happen, not everyone lists a group and not all groups that list for Blanchy have it spawned, most are waiting groups so it’s not a solution. As for why it is not spawning, you could have been sharded out without realising, making a group does tend to help this from happening as opposed to being solo.
And yes it happens, I have been in situations killing things solo when all of a sudden players shard in and out. Sometimes the mobs change, that is me sharding out, other times the mobs I am whacking stay the same, that is players sharding in.
One time I was even killing an elite WQ mob in BFA with a guild member, but we were not grouped, the dude literally vanished in front of me, he sharded out and missed the kill.

I’m rather late to the party myself, and I’ve noticed the same thing on both sides. Been doing quests in Revendreth and I keep checking bother the Group Finder and the actual location and at this point, there is nothing on either side coming up. I usually check on the hour to see if Blanchy spawns, and I check the group finder at random times so see if anyone else has posted it.
Also, just telling someone to use the group finder isn’t answering the OP question about the timer. The spawn timer is supposed to be 1-2 hours, but that isn’t very accurate to begin with,

I imagine Blanchy can go down in a couple of seconds these days. If you’re not right on the spawn or take off for 10 seconds you could miss the kill.
Edit: Oh necro… Guess the same thing applies. If your camping the spawn and walk away for 10 seconds or not on the spawn it can get by you and / or get killed and you wont know it. IIRC it does travel quite a bit.
I camped that spot. I have camped many others. The sad fact is that a lot of people camping rare spawns are often afk for long enough to miss the spawn completely. I recall one day near the famu spawn point where I was afk and happened to notice that Blanchy had spawned and run all the way up to me and was waiting for me to do something. I already had the mount.
The mount does not spawn the same time on all servers. I got into a number of groups that week and also watched it spawn. Keep refreshing your group finder every minute.

“The timer starts, at the point Blanchy is tagged. If she is NOT tagged, it won’t start, until after she despawns. Which can throw the timer off. Just so you know.”

The respawn time of this thread seems to be somewhere between 9 and 12 months.

Curious, I tried helping a friend (RIP Malace-GrizzlyHills) get the mount, and I couldn’t even see her.
blanchy spawns at different times on different servers, they do not match up. Blanchy, like any boss can be up on a different server when she is not up on yours.
of course they would remember to msg you…lol
you don’t kill blanchy. no one kills blancy

This is true agony. I have been sitting here for well over two hours and she has not spawned at all.
And no, there are no “Blanchy” groups currently. I’ve been checking.
I completed it about a month ago. Unless the patch broke anything, I didn’t wait more than an hour between refreshing groups or Blanchy spawning while refreshing. For me, it wasn’t as frustrating as I thought it was going to be.
