Blame the tank, not the Healer

To all the healers out there, I love you and I won’t let all those dps bully you.

You don’t have a choice, and you will hear us! I will make you hear us!

I am the immovable object standing between you and the innocent healer!

Your a rare tank to protect the healer, most healers have to do their own defense.

Besides you piss off a healer, they wont heal you and your on your own. Not always a good thing

Hey, it’s a tank/heal team effort herding the dps like cats

Back off sister, we’re about to pull this tanks, tanking card!!!

remember the first rule! it’s always the healer or tanks fault because both are incompetent… I don’t care what the story is! it’s always their fault!

I simply compare my healing with your DPS. More often than not, if you’re standing where you shouldn’t, your DPS is likely bad too.

usually when we get a healer like this, we let them dps! Oh the tears are glorious about 5 minutes in …

No thanks I’ll blame both. If tank loses aggro I’ll blame tank, if people are dying to splash damage I’ll blame healer. If DPS peels aggro off healer cause tank is doing bad job but dies cause of no heals… I’ll blame both.

Way ahead of you, I’ve already built up enough arrogance to deflect any criticism in general.

If the tank dies - it is the healer’s fault.

If the healer dies - it is the tank’s fault.

If the dps die - it is the dps’ fault.

Blame the appropriate person if blame needs to be assigned.

Not true, there is such thing as raid wide damage that needs healed, or things that need dispelled…

All dps have means to reduce or minimize damage when a healer cannot immediately get to them. The healer’s priority is always the tanks.

I find that in most cases when a dps dies it was because they love eating unnecessary damage, or they themselves do not use their own damage mitigation, potions, healthstones etc… to stay alive.

Overall though, most dps have self heals and should be carrying healing pots just in case of emergency need for quick heals.

Looks like Shudder and I are thinking the same : )

And sometimes it’s just a healer that isn’t dispelling things that need it. You would be surprised to see how many think that isn’t part of the job and simply don’t do it.

Tank runs into a room and pulls everything. Dies in a few seconds, has no clue how to play, blames the healer. If you’re actually playing the game when a wipe is taking place you can pretty much always see where the problem is. Acting like a baby and throwing blame around only makes you look like the problem.

You are taking this way too literally.

Do you always do this? Just suck the fun out of speaking in generalities or are you always treating everything as absolutes?

Of course there are always exceptions. I shouldn’t have to say that.

I love you, too. You sweet, wonderful tank. But speaking as a healer…sometimes it is the healer’s fault.
