Blade Rush single target bug?

I was farming strat for the mount when I noticed this morning that my blade rush was, about 75% of the time, only hitting my target and not aoe’ing the mobs around it. Sometimes it worked, most of the time it was single target. I’ve been attempting to recreate this on level 120 target dummies, but it seems to be working properly.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

It doesn’t aoe unless you have blade dance active. I think it’s blade dance. I never really look at the name lol

It’s supposed to AoE regardless of whether or not Blade Flurry is up. During BF, it does its full damage to all targets hit, but it’s still supposed to deal damage to all enemies in range either way.
