Who cares about this dagger anymore? You can run 10 fly hacking bots and blizzard won’t give a crap.
I’ve vendored 4 and kept the 5th one in 2953 runs since september on one character.
I don’t play mage.
I put fiery on it just to upset the mages when I put it in their trade windows.

Ive never seen it in game and I inspect every mage I see. as far as I know I’m the only one with it. I sit afk during world buffs with just it equipped.

Took the guy 141 runs.
Blizzard is capping instances to 30 a day.
TIL: 5 days of farming is impossible.

What’s so good about the dagger?
it causes you to have infinite mana with enough mobs on you.
can just spam AE until everything dies.
Is it good for locks?
it’s probably okay, I doubt it’s anywhere near as good as on a mage tho because of instant casts.
I’d only ever get it as a mage. as I did. 
the item usually takes 500runs to get to 50% chance of dropping.
over 16 days of farming to get it realistically with the change.
But that would only take 1hour of actual game time per day to hit instance cap. You would end up ruining your raiding to get it.
