Has anyone else noticed that blade flurry is broken again? Pull a nice pack and pop it, it initially hits the 8, but its also supposed to hit up to 7 others with single target attacks, but its only hitting one. I know this happened before in 2020 i think. But since 11.1.5, its not working as intended.
I thought this had been fixed? Damage seemed a lot better but I wouldn’t be surprised if now something else has gone wrong either…
I tested it in dragon soul. Its definitely bugged. On Yor’sahj, after you kill the boss, all the slimes come at you, pop it and 8 die, but have to kill the rest 1 by 1 while i still have the buff that hit up to 7 more mobs for 8 seconds.
Blade Flurry is capped.
Blade Rush is not capped.
I know its capped, but before 11.1.5 i didnt have to kill those slimes 1 by 1. each hit after the initial pop of it, id kill a few each sinister strike. Same on Hagara adds. pop it on the first pack, and each pack after i could kill with 1 sinister strike, now its all mobs 1 by 1.
I think this might be a bug that affects several Outlaw things. The first time I noticed something like this was during Waking the Machine, and the Affix where you have to CC all the orbs.
If you blind an orb or one of the WtM channelers, it doesn’t spread the blind.
My theory is that the code applies the blind, and then from that target checks for things around it and applies the debuff. But one of two things are happening. Either the enemy dies instantly and that stops it from spreading, or it dies and the debuff goes away with it, so nothing to spread.
I’ve experienced the same thing you’re saying with BF, and if I had to guess it’s doing something similar where it applies the damage to the enemy, but because it dies it loses the spot to spread from or the “damage event” to spread.
well, another Tuesday maintenance and small patch, still not working properly.
Well if you turn on BF and then use Kspree but the primary target dies then Kspree stops generating attacks and does not jump to a new target so it might be a similar problem.
send log of it being bugged? cause theres no recent reports of bf “not working”
I posted it 8 days ago in bug reports. Blade Flurry not working as intended The weeks before I was searching to see if someone else posted it recently, or if there was a history of it with a fix. And before we start, im not necroing 5 year old posts if im just looking for information. Why I dont have many posts, I normally find the info im looking for without posting anything.

Not speced into killing spree. Had no problem before 11.1.5.
Kspree stops doing damage if primary target dies so it could be happening to BF even without spec’d into Kspree.
I know, but Im not using killing spree.
Doesn’t matter it could be a same bug that is impacting Kspree.
I just tried it, I see what you are saying, it is bugged too.
It is broken, I need to press it on single target! The only reason I should ever look at that button is if I have more than one target!
I’ve been having an issue for ages where post opener blade flurry stops hitting anything at all.
I remember a hotfix where they claimed to have solved most of the bugs with Outlaw, including Blade Flurry “hitting” dead targets, was it really not fixed or what happened?
Separate issue I think. Just have to document and report away or try to recreate the bug to be able to explain what is happening in the bug report.
