Blade dance has a +AP if you exceed your base Def skill, however, there are no rogue talents that increase you Def and I can’t find any armor or weapons that are +def. So why have affix that can never proc
There is absolutely leather gear with bonus defense on it, as well as weapons and jewelry.
Along with the ring enchant for defense.

This talent is aimed towards rogues at 60. See all previous comments regarding defense.
