Blade Dance and Chaos Strike Need a Base 20% Buff

Title, discuss

Yes, and rework essence break while they’re at it. I don’t like how our damage is balanced around micro damage buff windows lol

I am all for damage outside of the meta burst with FS. I am not generally a fan of 2min CD gameplay.

I loved the relentless onslaught gameplay we had in DF.

Agreed. The class does not do nearly enough damage for the effort put in.

I’m not saying dh doesn’t need some damage buffs but I think chaos strike hits hard enough. I think they should buff up the small hits of blade dance by about 30% and then look at a few of our smaller passive damage. The right side of the havoc tree is looking pretty eh atm Trail of Ruin used to be a great talent but it does pretty much nothing now even burning wound is doing nothing but buff Immolation Aura.

Almost like Havoc is NOT a DoT spec.

I would remove both of em and increase the baseline damage of the skills in return.

The only thing I would consider is ToR, since it is uncapped AoE damage (even if Blade Dance is softcapped at 5, ToR applies for full damage on all targets it hits, even if the damage isn’t anything huge)

pls stop the micro-damage/dot :ox::poop:

DH is a Warrior like class, no a rogue like.

Agreed! Stop with the dot damage. Give us back our original “press button does damage” model.

Yeah that’s a good point, I’ve always wondered why a good portion of our damage comes from dots like we’re some sort of poor man’s melee affliction lol. I want all of our damage to be baked in to actual hits, not dots. I’d like for them to adjust for that and remove some of the dots we have if possible even.

Immolation Aura is the only dot like ability we need

Please leave one dot on throw glaive though, if not magical give it the bleed it used to have. If you disagree then stand still and let me throw a glaive at you and see if it causes a bleed.

Havoc’s strongest iterations were end of BFA stacking gushing wound. And season 3 and 4 of DF 4 set auto applying Soulscar. You think you want dot damage gone but you don’t. Havocs true spec highlight is its amazing mobility. Dh has never had big hits in its base rotation even eyebeam its highest damaging ability is just a bunch of small hits. Dh feels unique atm. The damage of dh is going to scale up we will probably have to wait till next season to really see noticeable changes. DH always seems to struggle the first season of every expansion.

Strongest doesn’t meant healthiest.

You have some good points, but I’d still like Havoc to be less about dot damage and more about big hits if possible, even if that requires a rework it would be cool to see imo…
