Currently still requires a full insight to guarantee 100% illimited gems, otherwise you have at the very best a 43% proc chance if you’re a draenei.
Anyone like me advertising in trade regularly you run out of mettle fast, and you stay out of stock. Blacksmith gets nerfed and supply some of the most important items, meanwhile this one red-headed step-child branch of jewelcrafting keeps getting its nards stepped on. Why?
I’m not understanding your comparison. Blacksmithing also requires an insight to guarantee specific items. Namely, two-handed 447 iLvl weapons that include an embellishment and a missive.
I can’t look at that screenshot because when I click it, the screenshot is gigamassive also I have no idea what im looking at with your addon so this screenshot is not helpful to me.
But from what your post is saying, you’re not able to make tier 5 versions of things you were a month ago, because of a bug that added more difficulty than it should have? Thats mad sucky. (correct me if im wrong)
But my original post in this thread is pointing out that JC has literally never been able to craft tier 3 illimited diamonds (tier 3 is the max, so its effectively a tier 5 craft until they make gems be able to be better)
without using insight. Otherwise its a proc, and no one wants to gamble the proc and no one wants to pay for insight.
I have a horde pally weaponsmith that has been maxed on basic skill and every skill tree. I only have 37% insp when making a 447 item of any kind (and that’s with a finishing agent to boost inspiration!). If I use an Insight on any thing with a missive and an embellishment it’s useless as it doesn’t guarantee a 100% proc.
It has always been this way since my skills were maxed… I have no idea what your comparison to BS is about as it has always been this way for JCs.
What bothers me is that some professions can 100% guarantee max ilvl items while others cannot (see my post HERE for screenshot examples/discussion).
