Blacksmith should have Mail Raid Epic crafted gear (or at least Weapons)

Just my opinion, but i think adding some epic crafted raid gear that is Mail to blacksmithing would open up a lot of other options for classes. Right now, classes are pidgeon holed into certain crafting professions to get usable crafted gear. I.e. Shamans. If you want your crafted epic raid gear, you gotta go LW.
Why not open up BS to more mail recipes? Im almost capped on BS and i still have some orange diffuculty Mail crafted gear i can make. Why not allow Hunters and Shamans to be blacksmiths and craft some nice mail gear. Yes, i know LW has Mail gear, but so does blacksmith!
Maybe even throw in some epic weapon crafts, like engineering has shields.
And yes, im blacksmithing on my shaman.

Anyways, thats my rant/suggestion.

Shields and mail gear.

BS shouldnt just be plate.

There was a correct answer, and this wasnt it.

Only reason to be a BS as a Shaman is to make what you need for your Hand of Rag.

Flavor for one.
Two, we can wear mail gear, and BS has mail recipies.
Three, shields and weapons. We can tank and BS weapons have some nice iconic ones.

We arnt just a meme spec anymore and just take tailoring or alchemy to sit in the back and spam chain heal.
