He is the most successful villain in warcraft history.
He took over half of the Eastern Continent.
While cities fell and lands were destroyed by the plague in the third war it was just destruction, not conquering and occupation.
The failure of the subsequent horde leaders proves how good of a leader Blackhand really was despite Blizz trying to make him seem foolish. Orgrim did nothing but lose all of their gains. Thrall built a city in the middle of a place no one wanted anyway.
Make the Horde Great Again by making Blackhand prominent in the next Shadowlands patch.

Why is his hand black? Did he spill ink on it and never washed it off? 
To be fair, Blackhand had the element of surprise and a huge freaking army striking an unprepared kingdom.
The biggest threat Humans and Elves had really faced at that point were Trolls. Then suddenly this roided out fel army comes out of the woods and starts killing people.
Do you know why he was so successful ?
Because He had Saurfang and Eitrigg commanding his armies.

True. Humans were also complacent at the time. There wasn’t much going on to have a need for warriors, and paladins didn’t exist for them yet.
Orcs changed all that for them pretty quickly. Paladins are the only reason the Humans were able to fight back.

And how many of those big bads were able to take over major swaths of azeroth? Some of them were able to destroy big parts, and in a few cases were already in power like Azshara, but to take over and hold for any period of time such a large portion of Azeroth, the most important planet in the cosmos. Pfft. blackhand.
From a military standpoint blackhand was probably the best warchief, one reason gul’dan chose him to lead the horde was because blackhand commands the other orcs listen. He’s conquered more then any other warchief taking the bulk of eastern kingdoms.
Doomhammer lost a lot of ground though that’s because gul’dan up and bailed with his portion of the horde causing doomhammer to split a weakend horde to hunt down gul’dan while fending off the alliance.
Thrall the second best from a military standpoint, gaining a good chunk of kalimdor and holding it, though his victories could be attributed to diplomacy then war, but a win is a win
Garrosh ambitious though not really claiming nearly as much as thrall or doomhammer.
Vol’jin no gains no loss
Windrunner lost horde land, unable to hold and just looses means she was the worst warchief.

WoD blackhand was the best. I wanted to join him. Grom should have taken a backseat to the real warlord of draenor.
