It’s the same every expansion.
It’s the same every patch.
Nothing’s new.
Imagine paying for something and not being able to play it.

It’s good to vent. Not the place for it though. I have about the same problem. partial black screen on character selection. But, I know it’s due to the high volume of people trying to log in. There’s only so much a server(s) can handle when many people are trying to log in. I know Blizzard has some state of the art hardware and software so that is not the issue. This can happen and will happen on many launch. Other games doesn’t have the same popularity as this one so you probably do not see the same affect.
