In retail WOTLK, The black proto drake and plagued proto drakes were mounts that players obtained from completing the meta achievements in Naxxramas WOTLK, however these mounts would be removed in the Ulduar patch and then to this very day, we’ve never seen a meta achievement mount from 10/25 raids be removed (End of expansion mounts do not count as they’re not Meta achievement related, Example Grove Warden).
Will this be the same for WOTLK classic? Will they go further and remove the next sets of proto drakes or the future meta achievement mounts?
Will we have it so if players earn the meta achievement in WOTLK classic that they’ll be added to their retail accounts to compensate for them being the only removed meta mounts from raiding?
Retail in MOP added the Plagued Proto Drake to the BMAH, which now reaches gold cap, yet never added the Black Proto Drake.
Furthermore, will mounts such as the original Amani War bear be removed in the pre-patch? will Vanilla’s Naxxramas be removed from the game like original Wrath? while these make sense as the War Bear was a challenge mount, there are those that desire to collect said items while not feeling confined to time.
