Black Prince Reputation

Am I right to assume that if I wanted to exalt this reputation it would take me over a year? That seems so unreasonable I am hoping I am missing something here.

Is it even possible anymore?

Yeah I have been gaining 500 weekly from a Timeless Isle world boss. If you look at my profile I am friendly now I think.

According to this wowhead comment;

Been reading a lot of comments and it seems like if you initially just started/finished part of the questline during MoP you can now still get rep through grinding mobs in various areas such as isle of thunder BUT if you joined WoW after Draenor i think the only way is to kill celestial on timeless for 500 rep a piece weekly with no rep buff.

You could get rep by killing mobs back in the day. I don’t remember which mobs in MOP gave that rep, but I remember grinding it.

Rip so thats that I guess sense this character was a legion baby. Year long grind it is. Lol

Ah. That is interesting. This ties into the stupidity that was removing this entire questline following MOP. I can understand removing the cape, but the Black Prince and the rep process was THE main driver to the expansion. Without that questline, MoP makes zero sense to someone playing through it.

I dont get why they remove those quest chains honestly who cares if someone is running 5 year old content who does it hurt.

I don’t ever remember starting the quest line. But I went to Isle of Thunder and grinded it out in about 1 hour a few days ago by killing mobs.

RIP not doing that while it was relevant F***ed me over pretty badly then. xD

I’m regretting not doing the PvP brawls. Because now I have to wait like 3 months for them to come back for the PvP reputations. No way I’m grinding Silverwing Sentinels the normal way on alliance no less.

It is not just that though. You are missing almost the entirety of what drove the MoP expansion. That questline explains how we get to WoD and why.

yep…forever & a day lol…working on it too…very frustrating

6 more weekly resets before one of my characters caps Black Prince reputation. It has been so long and so tedious, particularly trying to maximize the number of Celestial kills which benefit from the Darkmoon Faire buff.

The ā€œ100 Exalted Reputationsā€ achievement should be a classified as a Feat of Strength. There are much faster and easier achievements in the Feat of Strength category than completing 100 exalted reputations,

I wrapped my black prince rep up not super long ago, from rep off the mongu [sp?] mobs in the Isle of Thunder. My guildie/friend also said she is getting rep off them and the lizard mobs. I can’t remember ā€˜why’, but there is something in the timing or somewhere I left off in the questline, I think…which, allowed me to still receive rep for him. It doesn’t hurt to go kill some of those mobs on the isle and see if you are one of those lucky ones.

If not, you are stuck doing it as said above. I know another one of my guildies is and it does indeed sound painful. :frowning:

My Hunter was surprised to find she had started it back then. So during legion, while trying to farm a mog bow, of all things, she noticed it going up. So she got exalted.

Try killing those random stone dudes, on the Isle of Thunder. If you started it back then, you get Black Prince rep; That was how she recently got exalted.

If you didn’t start it back then, you can only do the Big dudes in the arena for Black prince, once a week, on Timeless Isle.

That seems to be correct.

The question is: Why would you WANT to farm Fresh Prince reputation?

Because that faction awards a whole bunch of nothing. It existed solely for the Legendary Questline which is no longer available.

If you started the quest line you can farm rep on the Isle of Thunder. It’ll take a couple hours and not years.

i did it back in wrath… but the bot ratio was super high at the time.

it helped a lot when at least half of each team was afk in the gy

Apparently it hurts their egos! I say apparently because that isn’t the only removed content that leaves one scratching their head. Just doesn’t make sense!
