Realm: US.East - Earthfury - Horde
Instance: Black Morass (Dark Portal), normal or heroic.
My friends and I have run Black Morass at least 60 times in TBC, on this same server/realm, both normal and heroic modes. On the 2nd rift dragon boss, ‘Temporus’, NONE of us have EVER seen the loot item / trinket, ‘Hourglass of the Unraveller’ drop. That is a ZERO % drop rate. We have seen all the other blue/main loot items drop: Kilt, Harness, Lamp, Blade, and Mender, all drop off Temporus multiple times, as per normal reported drop rates. TBC.Wowhead database says that all five of these items have similar 15 to 17% drop rates.
Either the Hourglass trinket is bugged, you have removed it from the game, or some other issue exists. Normal RNG doesn’t jive with zero drops out of 60+ full successful runs. Please investigate and what you find. Zero out of 60+ is not just “bad luck” or “bad RNG”, it’s a bug, or removed. Thanks!
