there is also more demand for flasks with bwl.
the real problem is that players (and bots i suppose) are hording the lotus supply. or perhaps there are more alliance players collecting lotus than horde players creating as shortage on one side. (not sure what alliance market is like for lotus on NS).
SEVERAL hundred lotus are able to be put on the market each day but you typically only see 40-60, maybe sometimes upto 100ish, at any given time. i suppose some players would be selling lotus off auctionhouse as well.
the scarcity is artificial. there is enough lotus to go around but they are being horded to inflate their value.
There most definitely isn’t enough lotus for the playerbase. It’s a megaserver with dynamic layers

not every person needs to flask so the argument that there needs to be 30k lotus each week is not only wrong, but a bit selfish as well, especially because your argument is about to turn into: “if i WANT to flask i should be able to anytime i want”
and this is just wrong and selfish.
there is enough lotus to go by, and if each person actually sold their lotus instead of holding them and controlling the market, youd see this.
also, the several hundred lotus per day is just based off 3 static layers. the fact that its dyunamic actually increases that number by quite a bit each week.

last i checked it was 2025, not 2005, and regardless classic =/= vanilla.

and the server pop back then were probably closer to 3500, not 2000. you are definitely lowballing that number.

because its the price people are willing to pay. if people werent willing to pay that (rmt or otherwise) it wouldnt cost that.

There are many, many fewer black lotus per player than 2005. Obviously black lotus was intended to be more plentiful than it is. That’s incompetence on the 2025 dev team. Why you continue to ignore this is beyond anyone’s imagination.
