I could be wrong, but I haven’t seen a single Black Lotus node since the update today. I know they are very contested, and there’s even rumors that there’s bots underground that camp the locations, but I have farmed the Lotus before! Today though, NOTHING. Not even a whiff of one. I have asked around to other herbalists and have gotten the same sentiment.

Would be odd for it to be just Lotus and not other spawns aswell.
I would normally agree, but with how Lotus works in SoD/SoM is that there are no nodes. It is TIED to the other nodes. If you pick an herb in a zone with Lotus, then you have a chance to get a Lotus.
Again, maybe I (and the other people I reached out to) are just SUPER unlucky today, but with my strategy to find Lotus, and the number of people I have talked to in game at this point it seems highly unlikely!
The system we have right now is that Lotus is around 25mins respawn, You have no chance of getting them from other herbs and other herbs do not affect the spawn timer.
YES. What I am saying is that I think the BG update messed it up and Black Lotus nodes aren’t spawning at the moment. I have talked to 10+ herbalists that have been looking for Lotus today, that have all come up dry since the BG update today.
It is very possible Blizzard messed up and accidentally applied the SoD Lotus mechanic to Anni edition, while also making it so they don’t actually drop from other herbs either.

Yes, but what about the 10+ people I have talked to? Or the fact there are no (or little) new Black Lotus on the market. Or that the price is spiking for no reason?

Plenty of them on the AH atm and prices have been averaging 100-115g per lotus for over a week now. dunno what to tell you mate.
Until someone comes and says they have looted one since BGs I am 99% sure they’re bugged. Talking to more people in Org and in Winterspring. Not. A. Soul. Has. Seen. One.

Wow head comments need to start saying g what version people play. Cause I read lotus is tied to other herbs also and that’s sod. But how are we supposed to know
