Black lotus isn't broken

It’s just supply and demand. There is too much demand for the supply.

The only solution is for you to stop using flasks.

the solution is to bring up the supply relative to the population.

the demand was never intended to outpace the supply like this- not in vanilla, not in classic 2019, not in anniversary 2025. in otherwords its broken.

or the population could decrease their demand :expressionless:

Demand isn’t just who want’s it, it’s also the amount of gold they have. Gold buying has been getting worse and worse since 2019. If you don’t perma ban gold buyers and sellers then you have to adjust resources to not make it a full time job to acquire. Pretending the free market is fair and we should just allow it to play out naturally when it’s a rigged game in favor of swipers is delusional and a bit of a basic take.

They just did a gold buying ban wave.

Seriously doubt gold buying is the only cause. That must be a drop in the bucket when you remember that modern Vanilla servers can host like 20k people now instead of just 2.5k, essentially 10x-ing the populations while not at all 10x-ing the mining/herbing spawn rates to compensate. Sounds pretty mismanaged and broken to me.

Also seems un-blizzlike, if you want to keep the old game intact and maintain the same item availability and pricing as back in the day, while also increasing the population cap, you must compensate the spawn rates accordingly or else you break the balance. People are objectively correct to request this get fixed.

This dudes made being annoying on the forums his full time job. Super cringe
