This black lotus change is inteded to help casual players

Casual players dont use flasks. This change is being made to reduce the amount of real money trading going on by allowing massive amounts of gold to be transfered from server to server.

Between randomizing the locations and increase the spawn rate it should make it harder to camp them all.

loving classic so far and looking forward to shadowlands, but if you guys are willing to fix wsg, will you be willing to look at AV, the winrate and why alliance loses a majority of the time if its something about the map, backcapping capabilities, etc. i genuinely have no idea what’s up with AV.

Alliance lose AV every time for a multitude of reasons:

1. 99% of alliance mains got exalted the first 2 weeks, which leaves only alts and fresh 60s playing it
2. Alliance queues are near instant, which means there is no sense of urgency to win games. Compare that to horde players who have extremely long queues so take their games very seriously.
3. At this point, most of the gear that comes out of AV is obselete

We’re also working on a hotfix that should put a stop to one small annoyance – now, if a player is actively engaged with the mailbox or bank, they will be considered “busy” if someone else tries to initiate a trade with them.

How did this little annoyance make it to the top of the list with its own hotfix?

Ease of fixing. Flag em busy, call it a day. Takes 20 seconds.
