Again, that’s not what is happening. Player behavior has nothing to do with it.
Let me put it to you this way. If every single black lotus was picked from the second it spawned then the total lotus supply to player ratio on a server would be several times lower than what it was in vanilla due to high server population.
The meta cannot stop this from happening. Only increasing lotus spawns will give us a more vanilla like supply.

Well, decreasing the number of concurrent players ALSO fixes this problem WHILE ALSO maintaining authentic wow server sizes.
Simple numerator/denominator modifications right?

They were taking advantage of a broken system. They knew the advantages flask brought and that the population of classic servers would only inflate the price. All this is doing is making it more vanilla like.

I don’t ask for changes. I never have. I didn’t ask for AV changes. I didn’t ask for black lotus changes. But I can see why those were made and why they can make for a more vanilla-like experience.
Unfortunately the AV changes were a fail. It’s hard to see why increasing black lotus supply would be an issue though.

spawns need to keep up with increased population. however, history is repeating itself. the game is being made easier, to over-accommodate casual players, again. imho. that’s what started the downfall of retail. casuals are fickle, and get bored quickly, moving on to other games. this leaves a casual game, for those who appreciate a challenge… then they leave. then… retail. increase all resources, to adjust for the higher populations, but stop cruising for easy mode.

Botting is part of the problem but another problem is how big some of the servers are. Megaservers were not a part of Vanilla and add another element to why BL prices were so ridiculously high. Sorry to those that put all their eggs in one basket, but I assume over 99% of people on high pop servers welcome this change.
Or you could just start banning bots?

Nothing has been changed yet which makes Classic any more casual than 1.12 vanilla. If anything it’s more hardcore due to the try-hard meta.
