Black Character Select Screen and Character Not Found

For the past few days when I log in, my character select screen is completely blacked out and takes some time to load my characters. I can log in on one character but the other keeps saying Character Not Found. The character in question was logged out normally, no disconnect or anything of that kind.

Also, correction, now all Characters are returned to selection screen and not found…

I had this issue but after few minutes it populated but i cant log in now…returns chracter not found.

When I hearth to Legion Dalaran, it won’t let me log out and then everything lags. I have to force quit to log out and now it won’t let me back in to any characters with out disconnecting.

Happening to me as well. I was able to log in this afternoon with no issues but now getting this problem.

This problem is currently happening to all my toons(A52 and KJ), long blank screens eventually populate but character not found when loading in.

Similar issues on Azgalor and Argent Dawn.

Start WoW and the character select screen stays black for 30-40 seconds. After that, when selecting a character, the loading bar goes about 90% to complete and then kicks back “Character not found”.

Change realm also provokes the 30-40 second delay before showing available characters. and “Character not found” error when trying to load a character.

I also got a WOW51900325 error in there once just for variety’s sake, I guess.

Happening to me too. Started with not being able to log out or exit game when I went to switch alts. Clicking the buttons did nothing. So I killed the WOW process in task manager and relaunched it. Started with black screen instead of loading my characters. A few minutes later and it now shows my toons, but when I try to load into any of them the loading bar gets to about 2/3rds then I get disconnected with WOW51900139 error after 30 or more seconds.

I have restarted PC, restarted launcher, etc. without any success.

This happened to me last night well before server reset. I was able to log in this evening. Ran some Mythic Ny’Alotha and a vision… was unable to leave the Chamber of the Heart (vision side). Now all toons return “Character not found”.
