Please make the black arrow’s damage over time part stackable because currently using it twice on the same target feels worse than using kill shot.

Doesn’t it already carry over the damage into the new dot?
It reapplies the dot but the damage doesnt stack.
Yeah confirmed it doesn’t. Dark ranger also miles behind the other specs and not worth playing unless you really don’t care about damage

Yeah. I called this out in the PTR forum, I made a video on it, I tried whatever I could to make it clear DR was not in a good spot and the 40% nerf to Black Arrow and Withering Fire was going to kill the spec.
In +7 and up keys, it’s looking at a 1.6% play rate. That’s insane. And it’s also exactly what I predicted would happen because why would you play DR? Kill Shot does more immediate damage because Sentinel buffs Precise Shots, it lets Rapid Fire apply a dot that echoes 25% of the damage, after its been buffed by Sentinel’s Mark by 55%, and Chakram does a huge amount of damage on it’s own while giving L&L.
DR has better survivability, I guess, but Hunter on it’s own has some of the best survivability in the game. Like, that’s not a problem that needs fixed. And man, using Wailing Arrow still feels gross and awkward with it having a cast time.
I dunno. DR needs something and it needs it bad. It’s in a pretty dire place.

This season just won’t be, they made the most anti dark ranger tier set using a set that makes you want to prio cobra shot. I really want withering fire to last as long as bestial wrath, main change I want

Yep, the moment they made the BM tier set focused around stomp and cobrashot, Dark Ranger was destined to be trash compared to Pack Leader.
Making a “fill in shot” cobra shot a now focus ability to make into tier piece is so stuupid

Exactly. With the current tier set, there’s just no room in the rotation for Black Arrow. Its mega de-prioritized.
How in TF does a tier set now priortize a shot that is designed to be a fill-in.
Very easily, it makes that button do more damage
