I can’t seem to find this anywhere. Anyone know which residuum pieces we should be shooting for?
I dont think there are so much BiS armor for Holy, as our traits are realistically underwhelming. Ideally, the Treacherous Covenant trait from Dazar is the most bang for your buck.
Just grab a 415 for each slot, and pick traits accordingly. AutomaticJak and Icy veins have good guides on what traits are worthwhile.
Well if you’re planning on saving up to buy a specific piece i’d argue you’re wasting your time. Like the above poster said, azerite traits for holy are extremely underwhelming outside of tcov/bonded souls/and a few other rare traits. I’ve raided in full shadow/disc gear and saw hardly if any differences in my HPS because again they really don’t matter for holy.
Now since you probably want a more direct answer, I’d skip buying a chest piece as the very first boss of the raid drops a chest piece with treacherous covenant aka your near BiS trait. So with that in mind either a helm or shoulder piece would be the better value imo.
Traits that are good/BiS:
Swirling Sands
Treacherous Covenant
Bonded Souls
Incite the Pack
Bonded Souls
Blightborn infusion
Prayerful Litany - if you find yourself casting Prayer of Healing a lot then this trait gets incredible value considering you can stack it. I personally run about 2-3 of these while raiding, and so do most top holy priests from what I’ve seen.
Traits that are decent but not great:
Word of Mending - but only 1, DO NOT STACK THIS
Blessed Sanctuary
Promise of Deliverance - pretty situational, some holy priest use this while raiding while others strictly use it in m+, either way I would not concern yourself with targeting this trait
