Get an item from rare boss that never spawn and you always have like 7 people in raid (jed) that want that item
Get an item with 7% drop chance from boss nobody actually kills
Get two items with randomized stats and huge drop list on top of that (literally impossible)
And then there’s also no substitutes right now for some items or they’re much weaker. And molten core have just few items for my spec.
But when you actually do get bis drop - that feels amazing. Also makes that part of “grind” complete and finished.
P.s. why bis list for shadow priest even include Vectus in p1

My BiS gloves were from Urok Doomhowl, the gauntlet boss in LBRS that almost no one ever does, and it had to randomly roll “of the Monkey.”
BiS items being random attribute gear makes those items really rare but really awesome to get.

my groups reset until jed was up then we would clear, just make a macro to target him and stand in the corner nearest to ubrs entrance before the first trash and spam it for like 20 sec incase hes patrolling, if he isnt up leave and reset
for that you’d need a group that would specifially want to farm jed, while most groups just rush for rend. Happens, but rare and there’s usually spot only for tank
Stop caring about “bis” lists and just get what you can. If it’s an incredibly rare item, then it’s not worth the trouble for a minor upgrade.

well, it’s not like there’s something else to do right now without honor system. Might aswell farm best items.
Dire Maul next week will really help alot of people get a nice pc of gear without having to beg an impatient group to make a detour or do a difficult event.
Why not both?
You can care about your BiS but still get what you can in the meantime.
Wish we could add the chance for the item to titanforge, with a socket and speed on it. That would make it feel even better.

Oh come on. Dont you want to farm an annoying event for loot with a random affix. Then need it to titanforge, socket and speed? Just make it so content lasts longer.
I really wish there was a trinket even remotely close to the briarwood reed. It just completely destroys everything else as a caster. It has so much damage and healing it’s even a BiS healer trinket. Vanilla really had some garbage itemization.

I think what Drain meant by that is “stop caring quite so much.”
I mean, don’t you think it’s odd that so many players believe that the game is “nerfed”/too easy, and simultaneously that, unless you’ve equipped BiS, you’ve somehow failed?
