BIS List for Resto Druids

Do you guys use the wowhead BIS list or is there a better one?

I don’t really follow a BiS list in retail… it seems like it’s less impactful. Early season I just take whatever is an ilvl upgrade and try to follow my stat priority. Later on I just let Ask Mr. Robot tell me what to wear and take what I get.

I think it depends on your goals though. If you wanna Mythic Raid or push keys past +20, I can see why you’d do this. If you just wanna do Heroic or easier and get your +20 achieves, I wouldn’t put too much stock in it.

All I can say to your particular question though is that the authors of those lists across all the different sites are different people. So while a wowhead list for one class/spec might be really on point, it might not be for another. I’m not sure if wowhead actually has staff or editors, I think it’s mostly community driven. Likely the same for IV and other sites. So the onus is on you to do the legwork and gather up the information, then go with what makes the most sense to you.

Good luck!

Not really; think the dreamgrove recommends questionably epic for gearing. Its got a trinket comparison tool and a vault choice helper along with some basic guides on gearing for mythic+ vs raid.

Generally all the resto secondary stats are pretty even behind intellect so item level is the best outside of rings and neck.

Full mastery and and versatility is best because I said so. Trust me I’m io 388 in mythic plus raid battlegrounds.

Great question!!!
I also saught this out. Here are my findings: BIS is what you need.

Let me explain my backround here. This expac I don’t have a static group. My playgroup dissolved sadly; the 1st expac I didnt raid with peeps since… Vanilla release. Thus, I decided my goal was Keystone master via PUGs. I know others may find that lowly, but doing 13-15s in a PUG is tge best I can do with IRL constraints. I too tried to find a steadfast BIS list I could target in my M+ spam.

Spoiler: there really isnt one.

Most guides you find that boast BIS are tilted to raiding; and understandingly given that things like cutting edge are so coveted. But if you’re like me, thats not obtainable or within the goal set.

The TLDR is that raiding is haste crit. M+ high dps is haste vers=crit, and M+ higher healing is haste mastery.

For me and my goals/content, the answere is haste mastery with a vers fial. This will give me high healing output, plus some damage and mitigation for the PUG life. I typically DPS hard and take pride when the PUG chat is “dang, nice pump”. Since my group may miss mechanics and tanks will have so much variablity, I want to complete a M14, not set nutty records for high keys.

I advise you to do the content you enjoy, and keep an eye on where YOU feel you’re deficient.

Haste is GREAT overall.
Raiding? lean crit
Need Healing M+? lean mast
Want to push higher keys. lean vers=crit

That’s my advice. Let me know if yall think im off base.

And be kind to PUGs
