  • His farm is surrounded by Defias bandits.
  • He’s already stealing jewelry from neighbors - not, like, hand towels or gardening tools. No, JEWELRY.
  • He uses said jewelry to successfully extort adventurers into getting him pie. He’s profiting, directly, from his crimes.
  • There are no consequences for Billy - he doesn’t even receive a swift backhand when he reveals that he duped you into doing his dirty work without actually having the necklace on hand.

Finally a kid who might grow up to be a man and not a doormat, and alliance already dislike him. Weakness is the synonym for Alliance.
