Bilescourge Bombers actually good!

I have been playing with Bilescourge Bombers (Pre-Patch) in PVP and it does considerably more damage than Demo Strength talent by a huge margin. Bombers consistently doing 6-9% of my damage. I am playing it with Shadow Invocation talent and it pumps. Anyone else have any experience with this talent? I know that Demo Strength is expecting a 25% buff in PVP but I doubt that will get it anywhere near Bombers damage currently in PVP.

I haven’t played PvP in a long time, but I have played Bilescourge Bombers.
The plusses are it’s on a 30 second cooldown and costs no shards.
The minus is that your target is apt to run out of it’s area-of-effect if not held in place.
So, in PvP, how do you hold them in place?

You stand still… because all melee do is train the lock

Nice I’ll give it a go later this week. However do keep in mind:

  1. DS and arguably FG as a whole are undertuned in PvP. Right capstone set of talents are pretty much dead at the moment too

  2. Armor stat is currently inflated, so abilities/builds that don’t do physical damage will have more throughput in comparison to those that do

As Demo lock it is my rule of thumb to always opt for spell damage over physical since I favor versa/haste in PVP.

DS has been underperforming since the 50% pvp nerf it got a while back.

With Vilefiend now being on the shadow school if I get kicked on shadow I can still cast HoG and Bombers since it is still fire school.

True targets can move out of it but what I find is that they have a hard time doing so because it is not really clear where the point of impact is and this serves as a micro cc to enemy casters as they have to move or drink the damage.

Shadow Invocation also is a small addition to damage. Overall I have seen Bombers sitting at 6-9% of my damage consistently in melee and caster matchups.

This may change when Demo is back to actually doing respectable damage. But as of now it is a solid lock in for me.
