This should have been done sooner Blizzard with Oribos and BfA zones, but better late than never

They probably made this change due to the various world quests that require you to be in warmode. Not that it was all that difficult to just use the portal to your capital, toggle WM on and then just use the port right back to Vald. But I guess it saves you 20 seconds and that’s not a bad thing.
I agree, the main hub should always have this option, even though I don’t see a problem with doing this in rested areas, but whatever.

I see no reason why the capital of the current expansion shouldn’t be eligible to change your character’s Warmode status, especially since you can see War Mode World Quests while in Valdrakken. Great change.
