Please let DoTs crit on NPC targets in TBC Anniversary. Help out Shadow Priests, the Afflic’s who are there to bring their 13% curse, Balance’s Insect Swarm and Moonfire, and Elementals boosted slightly from Flame Shock DoT crits.
We know all these specs do not get powerful from gear like Destro/Arcane/Fury/BM do. Only 1 stat does anything at all for DoT classes and even that 1 stat doesn’t do very much. Shadow Priests get out damaged by their tanks by Sunwell even, I doubt a single one of these specs would out perform the current top 4 meta specs if their DoTs could crit anyway, you’d just be helping them out a good amount, and making their gameplay better. I’d like to see haste affect all or some DoT’s too if that isn’t OP.
