If you play bg alone, you will end up playing with ppl with crap gears or against the premade group from Tichondrius.
random bg is worse than BFA now.

I actually play horde.
The situation of horde is much better, still, there are premade groups from servers like Tichondrius
could just be happy pvp is popular again lol. so many people have gone the pvp route to gear and not pve.
That goes against the PvPers nature of always being miserable though.
The only other group of people who are equally unpleasable would be housing communities in other MMOs.
You can replace Tichondrius with any former pvp server, tbh.
There’s really nothing you can do against premades, but in the first scenario you mentioned, why wouldn’t the other side also be in crap gear?
I just made level 60 and queued up for a skirmish. I literally got killed with one shot. Luckily the dude I was playing with won the match after a long long fight, and I got 15 conquest. But, I’ve never walked into a PVP situation where I was so overmatched, even when under-geared.
Under geared would be an understatement with that ilvl my friend.
The alliance side of pvp is frustrating. I can’t argue there as my experience was less than ideal. Try to stay positive is the only advice I can give.
Unfortunately, it is a player mentality that isn’t easily corrected. There is hope though. Stack the odds in your favor with a group of your friends.

Alliance bgs are good, fast ques and usually more healers. I like doing bgs on my alliance characters.
Horde well longer que times, but I’ve made friends in bgs so I still play them for the anima. Though if more rewards / honor cap increased / and more stuff to buy with honor that would be a good thing.
Its because Blizzard made PVE gearing so bad that even people who do not know how to PVP are force into RBG’s. Also this week’s weekly is a RBG one. So more people are doing PVP.

Random BGS are dying?
I had premades going for over nine hours today. (…my eyes hurt, yes.)
It’s been absolutely nuts, and the demand for them has never been higher in the last 10 years.
