I tuned in to a certain paladin WoW classic streamer and he was openly talking about how he was buying gold, and showing his chat how to do it.
How is this allowed? Should this not be against TOS?

Blizzard doesn’t care, at all. I’m sure some 5000 post fatso will come in here saying the opposite though.

It’s not allowed. It is against ToS. Whether or not Blizzard takes action in this particular case is the real question.

That’s how they do it. Junk or low value items like paladin blessing reagents for hundreds of gold is too hard for Blizzard to track, sorry.
I know dozens of people who use this method and NONE of them have ever gotten banned for this method, btw. If people can live stream it and do it this much, Blizzard has essentially given you the okay to buy gold. Have fun!
Or they just have some random level 1 mail them 10k gold, not sus at all.
TBH swiping is like torrenting. People won’t do it if they have a convenient by the book solution. We just don’t have the latter right now.
They also dont do it when bans are full battle net bans.

I don’t agree with gold buying either, and I personally don’t do it. However, how else are people affording flasks for 300-400g for raid? Also, can we keep posting about the massive massive botting going on that absolutely affects the economy? I’d love to flask for BWL, but I won’t be able to afford it each week.

I know a few people who buy gold (5 or 6) and only one got a 2 week suspension, and they buy 500+ twice a week.
I watch warriors in org have lvl 1 orc hunters with ‘asffeof’ esque names run up to them for 20 secs, then they log off, all day long when im selling enchants.
Gold buying is def out of control, and I have no faith in blizzard to intervene at this point.
Honestly good for streamers. You know what content sucks? Picking flowers or mining.
