Yeah, it’s hard to even play my belves because what they got is so underwhelming compared to other races.

Its just they gave us nothing of use.
I get some folk like the jewelry (or so they claim. narrows eyes) but it really doesn’t afford us much, and while the eye colors are great, they’re not enough to carry customizations on their own.
Every race should have jewelry and every race should have eye colors. That should be standard.
Aside from that we got what? New hairstyles? Another thing EVERY race should be seeing?
What benefits have blood elves gotten? What do we even have to be excited about?
Its no wonder blood elves are pissed, disillusioned, and tired.

I would not say that they got ignored. In fact, they can look decent, especially with those accessories. I struggled to make my disfigured female Demon Hunter somewhat feminine due their nature and how I imagine the character to be. Slashed vocals due the Demon Hunter ritual and the linked insanity, a corrupted body but still a woman. These few accessories really help to bring out what other races just get it later on.

It’s a simple design based on two well-known sets but I like the end result, her being the main DH-character class leader in my head canon from the two I have.
They have and I actually encourage them to do this again - but in this topic. I do agree that it’s the Blood Elves’ turn now and hopefully they get something with 10.0
You have no access to my posting history but I do post in many other topics, although I admit that my motivation to be here was to discuss the ceased war. For what it is worth, though: I’m also going to make a deep review of a casual RPer in the General Discussion, who dived into the try hard RP mentality and to see what the fuzz is about it. I RPed in the past but more as a passive player - however, I really get it now why my relatives loves it so much. You need to take a leap of faith, it’s a total community-communication thing I wasn’t really aware of. We all know that these people play but it goes so much deeper. It’s such a refreshing take to see actual interesting storylines compared what we get in SL. Perhaps you will join the topic then when I’m going to make it.

It was their turn during pre-patch.
Blizzard messed up on them and many other races and should have spent the entire expansion rectifying that instead of doubling down on useless systems that won’t exist next expac.
Blood Elves have every damned right to be pissed.
There never was a war except in your mind.
People were expressing what they wanted to see in the game.
Also I didn’t say I had access to your posts, just that I hadn’t seen you post anything except to rile folk up, silver lining though, it got those threads some bumps.
That has no business being in GD. Put it in the RP discussions or better yet don’t do it at all.
At best you’ll just be laughed at, at worst you’ll get suspended.
Not sure what RP has to do with this discussion overall though.

Just stop replying that that one. They’re only here to be annoying. They provide nothing of value to any discussion they bring when it comes to Blood Elves, only discord. They think demon Hunter options count as an extra aesthetic to blood elves, but only demon hunters can use those options, and so can night elf demon hunters.
If and only if every class could use those options would that count.

I wonder if Blood Elf customization was traded off at the cost of the heritage armor. I mean in terms of triage dev thinking. ‘Blood Elves just got something during BFA we need to keep hitting the rest’. It’s just an idle thought, but really at this point it’s just a matter of ‘when’ and not ‘if’ blood elves get more options.
The older races in general haven’t gotten a lot of attention lately for customization, and blood elves definitely part of that older guard. I wonder if their priority is because of how they didn’t do enough for Allied Races and this is just playing catch up to what should have been there from the start. That said, Blood Elves make up the bulk of the Horde. Less than half but more than a 1/3rd.
The real question is if Blizzard is watching this thread for ideas. There’s a lot of things they could put in, but it’s more a question now if they ‘should’ if those ideas aren’t gonna be very unique or at least, make a way to make blood elves and void elves more distinct from each other.
Pandaren need it badly too I think, a Pandaren from the Horde should look different than a Pandaren from the Alliance.

I read countless postings in the past how much those “bit of armor” matter to several people here. This is still an awesome feature for the race which adds to.their.value as a popular player race. They can’t compete with the Orcs but who can actually can.
First of all, there is only so much of resources they have available. And secondly, I count the Blood Elves ahead in the customization department, together with the Orcs, both Tauren races and the NB. The regular Darkspear Trolls will actually need the love at the moment, followed by the Forsaken.
People are bored and look to get somehow hooked on the game. I’m sure a few people will be interested and give it a try. I know that I did and I do not regret it.
This is the problem with you people. Too prideful in every step you take. You wouldn’t even recognize actual help even if it is at your doorsteps. I said what I meant. Continue to spam the topic here so it stays relevant. You all loved those fanarts which got linked from Ariel and others, yes? Then do it. Give the developers ideas. What stops you guys now? I have read most postings here when they get pushed. Just continue.
Speaking of “discord”, I’m actually part of a bigger European Belf one. Just to give your a small wink here. Looks can be deceiving.

No. It was even the first (regular) heritage armor outside of the AR and I remember people providing their wishes how it should look. The Sin’dorei armor looks great although the kilt texture is low quality. The real winners here are the Goblins and Tauren - but given that they have literally no armor available to them, they surely wanted to set things right with the player base here.

Realistic speaking, the Pandaren get a low end job, the same armor in a blue and red tint. I love the Pandaren, I truly do. But they will not receive something great we all can look forward to.
Blizzard often claims they’re looking at the ideas in these threads and I hope they are.
Ideally the OP would update the main post to show off several of the requested items that have been provided. Though thats a lot of work to put forth for a game thats so… low right now. lol

We request things in this thread. Should be pretty simple for Blizzard to find. It’s annoying to create multiple threads or invade other threads filling them with requests. If Blizz wants to add stuff they will.
Took them about 7 years to get around to more customizations no matter how anyone requested them.

Totally understandable on both counts, I’m still here because I play when I want so I pretty much come and go and well I have a pretty long sub active currently so I would rather use it than waste it. Lol.

I’m collecting all the collects I can. I just got 80 on Night Fae this week, will do Necrolords next because it’s the only campaign I haven’t done, because their mounts are ugly but SLIME KITTEN

Oddly, I actually like the corpsefly mounts especially the pink and purple one, I use it a lot when I’m flying but otherwise I agree, Necrolord stuff has been my least favorite of all well except Marileth and he’s legit my favorite NPC this xpac.
