Mechanics wise, yes. It has to work that way. Lorewise, depends. Some come back, some do not.
Oh my gosh I love the new customizations for this character and that’s despite still wanting better skintones and better hair colors.

okay SO I know I said I liked the wretched look.
But I gave in and made Vierard handsome.
He looks so good. He may be my most dramatic change out of my whole new-customization squad. Will I miss his angry wrinkled old man look? Maybe. Do I love his elaborate new tattoos showing in certain light and his goatee and the whole nine yards very much? TOTALLY YES.

Ugh so my void elves in Oribos. Makes me physically ill.
I’m parked outside the Dalaran barber shop watching the HMT, Nightborne, void elves and Lightforged run in. It fills me with the warm fuzzies.
SEE, BLIZZARD. EVERYONE LIKES CUSTOMIZATION. More of that would be fun!
…Like more updos for blood elves. Preferably with toggleable chains with enchanted looking gems or rune plates.

I’d make a nightborne but eh. Happy for them at least for what the have. My void elf isn’t changing, no interest in high elves.
Nothing in this patch is interesting enough to bring me back to be completely honest. Cool for those who got what they wanted of course. In my case, there isn’t anything I’m interested in using.
Hoping for better blood elf customization soon.

wish my ugly pony tail thing had like a decoration or something. on a belf its a braid. on me its like wet noodle pasted to my chest lol
I at least want the burgundy hair color for this character from Void Elves, everything else not so much but that I admit I really do want for us.

I have two. I’m particularly proud of my monk at the moment, but that’s because she’s fantastic.
But I spend entirely too much time in lowbie BGs as a stress valve, so my alt quotient is high. It’s part of the reason customization matters to me more – options and seeing other peoples’ cool looking characters is my primary content these days, now that I’m a creepy old hermit.

That’s fair! While i hate their lore, the void elf appeal to me was the void stuff. I hope they expand that with starcursed stuff.

…But I am enjoying this. I’ve basically been bouncing back and forth between my folks who have new options tweaking this or that. Somehow, I hadn’t quite realized how many options Highmountain were getting until I actually had my hands on them, either. There’s a lot of great flare – not all of it highly impactful, but great tools for making a visual story with your tauren. I love her more now.
I am not sure when her new look will show up, but this is her!

Well since it’s a male character I’d say as little clothes as possible because that’s my own personal preference.
