Im not sure if i want to play as a Hunter at max level though and a race change well would be the Vulpera as first pick. Let’s wait and see if Worgen receive their tail option request first.

and as i said earlier one kick from horde players would be all it would take for me, cause i recognize what the future would be like. i’d either be kicked because they didnt want the faction barrier to drop, or because i’m on a contoversial character (admit it, helfs are controversial to horde players), or because my class is nerfed or has bad racials for the content or any number of other issues.
dunno if anyone else remembers healing in early cata. that drove me right off the game lol
Your character says Void Elf so I wouldn’t worry about it on average people are not going to dislike you because of what character you play

Lol, I’m getting ready for bed at the moment but really it’s funny how much they say they are High Elves but it says Void Elf because RP options doesn’t change that.

i’d have to go to the barber, dye my skin blue and my hair a void color, and then queue. that would solve some kicks. but there’d still be the ugh alliance player kicks and the ugh blue belf wannabe kicks. lol
I just got home xx editing pics of myself listening to no friends in the industry on repeat bcz the only way I listen to music is the same song over and over I hope you had a good Halloween weekend

And third, I totally agreed with Phae last night and I still agree now but like I have said more than once now I apparently am bad for thinking that Blood Elves and Void Elves shouldn’t share any more customizations, they aren’t the same race and that RP options don’t make you something you aren’t. (Also don’t take this as I actually think I’m bad because I don’t and I won’t ever let someone try to make me feel bad for saying or thinking what I do.)

why’s it matter to you what i call my character, especially if you know its not a threat to you as a high elf? you are a high elf. are we dingding round 2 about how you’re not tainted and so on? i’m not either. my character is uh…slightly odd.
Never said it matters to me like matters to me, my exact quote says RPing options doesn’t actually make you that and I’m happy to requote myself to reinforce that.

^responding to that, and that was a response you made to lannisterian who was reminding me i’m not a high elf. lol i.know.i’m.not.a.high.elf. i know the tag says void elf. i’m referred to as a helfer.
I know what I said because I said it but that doesn’t change that you have been trying to start an argument with me and trying to bash me with other people since I said Blood Elves and Void Elves shouldn’t share any new customizations with one another yesterday morning because one is void tainted, so if you have a problem with me because of my opinions or because I point out facts that’s a you problem not a me problem but you should really stop unless you want to end up on my ignore and potentially other people’s as well.

I just feel it’s a very minor point you’re taking issue with that isn’t worth the energy, naughty didn’t mean offense but the comment isn’t wrong either so it’s neither here nor there RP tools start and end with your character that’s not a bad thing I’d love for BEs to get the same standard of RP tools.
The rest of the issue about people kicking from groups etc is a bit hard to follow and that’s why I say it’s not good to invest that much energy in this minor point being made, either way I hope you had a good Halloween weekend as well hyper I am going to do my quick skin care routine the one where I’m tired but do the bare minimum and go to bed.
My final note though is RP tools are okay, while people may have reasons to oppose different options it’s neither here nor there for example my dissenting opinion on added hair colors has no bearing on liking or getting along with you as a person. Hope that makes sense

i agree with this. well i’d be happy to share hairstyles with you though i know the feeling isnt mutual and i dont expect it to be. but i dont know how healthy it is for me to be here in this thread.
As the person that you have been attacking and indirectly attacking since yesterday I personally don’t think you should be if you can’t accept differences in opinions but I’m not the forum police and I’m also not here to tell you or anyone else where you can or can’t be, I just think you and I shouldn’t interact anymore despite the fact I thought we were friendly previously but now I think I was wrong because you clearly have a really big problem with me.
not you specifically, just the negativity aimed at void elves and helfers in particular, it starts wearing on my mind. i find myself apologizing for what other people have done who are cllearly just trolling us all, but who claim they are velf fans. apologizing for not being convincing enough about half elves. apologizing because blizz is ignoring belf requests to the point of complete frustration. and on top of that the constant reminder that velfs are a poor copy of belfs, which i am all too aware of, as it reminds me just how much blizzard cares about its players. whole thing is depressing to be honest.
It’s not negativity aimed at void elves or high elves, it’s the people that insist on being toxic, to be honest. I would never blame you or the high elf community in general for the harassment I’ve dealt with. In the heat of the moment I did snap about being really angry about high elf fans and ‘how they would do this’. But in reality, I know it’s the fault of just…toxic individuals.
For high elves, I don’t mind them though am not interested, and I know many people are going to be happy with them. For blood elves, I hope they get something that makes them unique and distinct, a magical mutation like the void (and NOT light like some people suggest, as some sort of foil to void elves, which is not what blood elves should be reduced to.) For San’layn/Dark Rangers, I hope to be able to play them on the Horde or neutral if we ever get those options.
I wouldn’t dwell so much on when people say ‘velfs’ or ‘helfs’, they don’t mean the entire community, just those who are being spiteful. Just like how people will yell about blood elf players being toxic. And there are plenty of toxic blood elf players! But not all of us are. I never feel offended during those times because I figure: “ah well I’m not in the party doing that, so I’m not going to feel off about it!” and such. I know it can be easy to get caught up in it though, trust me.
