I got bad news for you. As soon as all these bads get stomped a few times in organized, instanced pvp, they’re going to go right back to griefing boats and flight points.

As soon as the horde realizes they can’t actually win anything when it’s fair. They will go back to their Viking ways
Bgs make a worse problem, no pvp in the world except hundreds of horde camping the few allys still out lvling. for every single server.

The solution was in the vanilla game manual, but unfortunately never got implemented.
Honor should only come from people within your BG bracket. 60s should only get HKs from other 60s. 59s should only get HKs from 50+s.
Anything else should give you DKs, and DKs should eventually give you outlaw rep, where every NPC will attack you except for in a couple neutral cities. Getting enough HKs should take you back out of outlaw status.
It would be a fun mechanic, but nochanges, I guess.
This system sounds awful.
Let’s wait and see what happens, as all of the PvE servers and “medium” PvP servers are still fine.
I’d like to actually see BGs released before we claim its another failure personally.

Bring on the BGs! You are right though, when ALliance learns that even in a fair fight they get stomped, they will stop Q ing for BG… then the Horde with Q times for BG and guess what they will be doing in between ? Stomping the alliance in the RW as well!

It’s not just going to be horde. There’s plenty of bads on both factions. And with these server pops, there’s still going to be tons that give up on BGs and go back to making the world unplayable.
All I’m saying is that people hoping BGs fix the problem are in for a disappointment.

Replace horde with alliance, and then use the two interchangeably and you’ve described most pvp servers.

then they’ll realize WPvP give next to honor compared to BGs, their grind will come to an halt and PvP will be as pointless as it was in phase 1.

yes… a mecanic where if I defend myself against someone lower lvl than I, i get DHK… a mecanic where people can kamikaze a bunch of lvl 1 into large fight and give the opposing faction a bunch of DHK…
definately a fun mecanic if you don’t think about it for more than a second.

If only a coder could implement a first strike mechanic.
right. then you’d only have to deal with all the various AoE going on in teamfight, make sure the first strike mecanic cant be bypassed by healers / buff / warlock summoning people, and might aswell remove the tab target function from the game too.
Try thinking about it for TWO seconds now.

You all should come to Bigglesworth, the Alliance here have the stones to organize and actually push the horde around in the world.
Maybe I’m the weird one, but isn’t that just part of a PvP server? I mean, ganks happen. I personally haven’t had any major issues, and even when I do it’s still what I signed up for when I rolled here. BGs will help, but some people just want to gank. It’s just part of the time and place.

What kind of honor do you think you get in a 40min WSG game where the opponent is a premade and they farm your in your GY while holding the flag, making your team quit, more people continually coming in for the opponents to farm without any diminishing return?
Do you think you’ll get more honor being farmed or out in the open world?
omg alliance is so delusional, you think horde wont have organized bg groups?
you really think alliance will win in a “fair” fight more than 50% of the time?
we’ll see what happens when all the forums are filled with alliance cry babies asking for racial balance 1 week after BG release.
