Where is everybody? I have heard weeks or months ago nobody plays (BEFORE SoD) because they messed up the EXP and Honor system.
AAAAAAhhhhhh this doest really fly. There is nobody playing per my first hand experience 15-40. Did Blizz disable it completely?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the odds of people under level 60 queueing enough to get a BG to pop is near 0… thats even before SoD

Nah it’s just the min/max meta. Doing BGs before max level is inefficient, so people generally don’t queue for them.

My guess would be that not that many people are both leveling in Classic Era and queuing BGs.
In my personal opinion, SoD is super fun and I would recommend it to friends.
Because BGs give you no XP… and the point of leveling is to level.
If BGs gave XP youd have more ppl leveling in BGs

I have to report with rdf in wrath the number of people leveling in battlegrounds is low, even during av week.
Well it depends on if you are boosting or leveling. If you are leveling it would be better to get a couple ranks in before you got to 60. As the gains per week are gated.
exactly and there are a lotta reason to play sub 60 bg’s.
you can run bgs every once in a while and get ranks and gear that’s good until level 60 in bgs.
quests will give some xp.
getting low-level gear from BGs (which is usually very good if not actually BiS) isn’t a thing until TBC.
now, the usual mouthpieces who dont actually play low-level BGs – but will tell you why nobody else plays low-level BGs – will blame the lack of participation on twinks, those characters/players that exist to play low-level BGs.
this, of course, never holds up to scrutiny – SUP ZIRYUS, WHERE YOU AT WITH YO NELF-SELF? – but the players who dont actually play low-level BGs know all about why other players arent in low-level BGs. very odd that none of them are here in this thread, villifying the Twink Boogeyman. they sure do love to hear themselves speak on this topic.
as for me? well, if there’s no WoTLK-4-Ever server, I lost interest in this Level 39 Warlock (plus all my other WoTLK characters). So I’m playing HC – where there’s no PVP at all.

I cant say for classic but pre SOD on wotlk i was get 24/7 pops, 5min to 30min depends on time.
After SOD -time is now unavaliable.
I figure every1 is off playin SOD.
Wat im doin and having a blast.
Because battlegrounds in Era don’t give Exp.
I don’t believe that is why there is no ques. i believe Blizz has disabled it.
as far as your comment that BG’s are inefficient because there is no Exp:
there are many reason to pvp and BG. I loved the exp when i BG’ed but that is not the only reason to BG.
I am thinking you’re missing the point I am trying to make here.
I don’t think Blizzard disabled anything because if you organize you can get Q’s to pop, this is what we did at 60 about 1.5 years ago because there were no Q’s in Early-ish Era at 60 either.
When only a hand fully of people Q and it does not meet the threshold for even a partial team the system will continue to look until the threshold for the game to begin is met.
If the few players who want to PVP sub 60 do Q and there is not enough or they are Q’d at off hours and don’t get games because of this they are unlikely to Q again when no game pops during their play time.
As a result the lack of participation makes the games that may happen stale and in turn less people Q and play.
Now add in the fact that gearing at 60 is fairly easy and straight forward and that classes just play better at 60, and its far more balanced than Sub 38/40 play, and top that off with doing BG’s rewards basically zero EXP that’s needed to level and you’re unlikely to see any one Q’n for BG’s
Now top this off with there are maybe a million total people playing “Classic ERA” and not all of them like PVP, and fewer do BG’s because they think they need gear to even participate.
I hope you can see now that its not just one thing, or even a couple things that harms Battlegrounds not just low level but high level too; when you factor all those things into the mix, you end up with very sparse BG Q’s even at level cap because of the Min-Maxing, the idea that you need full raid gear to PVP, and the lack of Q’s popping fast enough also harms the participation, and top that off with many players play for gear not fun, so they raid instead of PVP, Its just a mix for no PVP to happen.
well something is not quite right. you are the only person who has said if your organize a group the que will pop. I believe you, but im suspicious that something is very wrong with the ques.
I am on a pretty populated server even with SoD online. i find it hard to believe on a layered server i cant get 1 BG to pop in 30 days if I am in que every other day for 4 hours. ****updated during server prime time
No its because getting stopped by a twink that has 3x your hp and damage is pointless so people don’t even try
a twink? haha give me a break. every match a few of them. you must not really play bgs
No one considers getting rolled by twinks or premades fun.
