Hey, have anyone found any BGs in Era still going in the shadow of anniversary? Been trying to queue for AV on AV weekend and am not having any luck.
no, the new ranking system stinks and very few want to do BGs on era now

you mean the changes they made over a year ago?
please, give me a break. era is dead and the population reports CLEARLY show that. there is a fraction of the population left hanging on to dear life in era which has been in freefall since anniversary.

Bgs were happening all the time on era, even had some week night avs, then fresh released. I don’t think AV has popped since.
It’s due to splitting a large portion of the era playerbase off to new realms. The pvp system is not the culprit. Though I will concede the new system has the unintended roadblock of the static honor reqirements when bgs aren’t happening.
I hope to one day have avs on av weekend again.

BGs were popping before fresh, the new system is just fine, the problem is the fresh servers. Queues went from 2-3 minute to nothing a week after the fresh announcement. The cause of why there are no BGs is easy to see, and it has nothing at all to do with the current honor system.

Thats not how it worked, it has never worked that way. You do not understand what was being done on era servers to make ranking possible, and you were carried by the work of those people. You are a casual nochanges andy

WSG was still popping for a few weeks after fresh launched. PVPers should concentrate on returning to that, AV isn’t realistic.
True, WSG will pop occasionally, but no more then for some fun PvP BGs, you simply aren’t likely to get enough to rank up even past R6, let alone R11-R14.

The change was needed. They need to reduce it even more. Ranking takes 5x longer than raiding and its not even better gear.
BGS HAVE TO be going 24/7, the amount of honor you need from r11 to r14 is insanity.

False few players mean teeny tiny brackets with probably only one slot in the 14 bracket, and if you’re rank 13 and someone else takes that slot from you for even a week it will set you back multiple weeks.
