What is a sofa?

A sofa can be defined as an upholstered bench with cushions, two arms, and space for several people to sit. This includes a range of comfortable seating options, from sectionals to loveseats. “Sofa” is the commonly accepted word for the type of seating that fits this description, but sometimes sofas are casually referred to as couches depending on the size, style, or setting of the sofa.

What is a couch?

Although the word “couch” is usually used to refer to small or casual sofas, couches feature some distinct differences. The word comes from an Old French verb “couche,” which means “to lie down,” and the design of couches reflects that meaning. They generally have one or no arms and they are smaller than sofas, like a chaise lounge. However, due to years of the terms being used interchangeably, you’re more likely to hear “couch” used to refer to less formal sofas.

I’ve been stuck one achiev (kill 5 fc’s in a single eots) away from battlemaster for like at least 2 years now. I think I’m gonna start actually making a concerted effort to get it this weekend. Really hate eots, though :neutral_face:

It’s really annoying because I’m kinda forced to not play to win. Have to actually let them pick up flags and ignore bases to just to chase fc’s.

You’re alliance. They are going to pick it up anyway, lol. Isn’t killing the efc a good thing? I rarely see other people do it on that map.

It is a good thing, but to get to 5 you pretty much have to kill the fc and then let someone else on their team pick it up again. And yeah, no one actually tries to kill fc’s so it’s usually just me trying to solo them and whoever is guarding them.

I got my 5 kills on the same flag. On my hunter, killed the fc, couldn’t get to it to pick it up in time, killed the one who did and so on. 5 times from Mage tower to Fel Reaver. Damn horde still got the cap and won as a result.

And no, I am not making it up. January 2015 and I remember it very well. I don’t go for achieves and was not happy to get it because all I wanted was to get the damn thing and stop the cap.

I got it in 2015, when I was Alliance. Game was probably different back then. It was Warlords, I guess the Alliance was the wrecking ball back then.

I think it was cata when Sparkle pally got it. 2011? Seems right. Alliance was in a pretty good state then too. Instant queues Horde side.

Very nice. Yeah, I had been hoping it would happen naturally at some point but with the way EotS tends to be played these days it just doesn’t seem like it’s gonna happen

Yeah was a risky move but paid off I guess.

Alliance is way smarter with Glaives. Horde is still stuck in the “hangar only” mindset, drives me nuts.
