Want to talk about mail hell?! I almost got a paper cut opening a snail mail letter today. Why I was so traumatized I had to calm myself with a nice snack followed by a nap. Retirement is tough man, tough.

Did anyone guess October 13th for SL pre-patch?
i saw the delay coming, at least weâll have prepatch oct 13th. Iâm going to guess December release, they wonât release in November alongside Cyberpunk & CoD, Assassins Creed.
Two months for them to fix it, might be a really good expansion.
I originally thought theyâd just delay launch 2-3 weeks for mid November to time the raid launch/world first race to land the early December but the more Iâve though about it Iâm thinking early December launch and they delay the raid world first race to the first week of January.
If past launches are any indication, other games donât have much of an effect on wowâs launch. Theyâve released around the same time as cod a couple times now. Times have changed though and blizz may not feel like they have the dominant market share anymore so who knows⌠plus big daddy activisionâs influence.
Do you think Naxx in Classic would impact Shadowlands?
That seems to be the primary goal of most people who are regularly playing Classic.
I havenât really followed classic after I quit playing in December of last year so Iâm not familiar with how theyâve staggered patches with live.
2 month prepatch? That could be a record.

Yea, I just donât remember that I guess.
I remember Cataclysm. Itâs an unpopular opinion but I actually didnât mind that expansion at all. I enjoyed the complete u-turn in PvE difficulty (I found heroics actually being difficult again really fun) and I still hold Firelands up there as one of the best raids theyâve released.
Tangential to this thread, when Blizzard killed my realm forum I decided to let my 6 month recuring run out. About 11 months after it ran out I was sent an email with free weeks to try their new expansion, Cataclysm. So, I missed the Cataclysm windup/pre-patch. Most of my overtime and all of my company travel had evaporated in the interim however, so I had more free time and stayed.
Iâve almost stopped playing this year, almost no time on since January and mostly Classic the end of 2019, but plan to come check out SLs.
I donât raid much if at all, but I concur.
Plus Iâve run it probably 200+ times for mogs, mount, druid seeds before it became a toy
I was just humming tunes from Fat Freddyâs Drop (based on a true story album) yesterday. I have seen you around the sever, but never saw the guild name until just now.

Eh I donât think most people hated it. I played it pretty consistently. Wasnât a fan of the last season with legendary daggers rogues. Other than that I had a blast. Enhance actually felt fun to play.
8 weeks of being absolutely unkillable as a holy Paladin.
It was hilariously broken and so much fun.
