I mean we knew where and how to get essences. Some of them were capped. Didn’t make them any less grindy or crappy to get (lucid dreams is the absolute worst).
Azerite was actually pretty targetable. Half the issue though is you wanted residum or had to target a specific dungeon or raid cause the PvP ones sucked.
Corruptions is the only thing that I really see sl having over bfa right now. It’s a big plus but still…

That was a pretty good book to me as well. Some people may love the new book and thats awesome. It just wasn’t for me. I was really glad to finish it. I listen to the wow books on audible while mowing my yard for 2 hours lol. They just added two of the war of the ancients books so those are probably next.
Those two are extremely biased in all they cover. It’s their business and in their best interest for wow to succeed. Their bank account relies on it lol… It’s also easier to get special privileges like hosting things at blizzcon when you constantly white knight.

??? Yes because the casual playerbase had to PVE to get good gear to be viable in PVP, even world pvp lol. BFA casual player has to PVE to get better gear because the base option sucks, and is unviable in wpvp and even instanced PVP unless you’re playing at 2.1k+ rating proccing plenty of gear.

PVP has its own stable of legendaries you get from doing just PVP. If you don’t want to do PVE to earn other legendaries, then don’t play World Of Warcraft, a primarily PVE game lmao.
If you want to go to battlegrounds everyday, you can go and do that and be viable.
Starting to think people are WoD babies because in Vanilla, BC, WOTLK, CATA, MOP you had to do PVE to get certain pieces to use in PVP.

Yes, a month ago is a long time in a beta lol. They’ve flipped the game in one month on the beta including many classes.
What PVPers should be worried about is how unbalanced PVP is going to be because there is no sole PVP server for testing as of yet lol.

My titanforgred pve geared dh absolutely destroyed people in legion. I think I was around 976 if memory serves correctly. Giving a class like dh 5-7% more stats (all** stats) made we walk around shooting fish in a barrel in bgs. In a twin peaks I remember very clearly grabbing the zerker buff, popping a saltwater pot, meta leap in the middle of their entire team and win a 1v6 in about 5 seconds.
Then you may get an rng piece of loot that you take immediately to the legion scrapper thing for that currency that you had to get a ton of. I can’t even remember the name of that currency.
People try to praise legion like it was the glory days but it wasn’t. It was just a less worse of a system than 8.2-8.3. Legion pruned more abilities, you had to level the silly honor talent tree, pvp gear was worse than bfa, and you couldn’t even customize your stats. People forget all of that though. They just know that current system is bad and don’t remember how miserable they were in past systems but remember one thing they liked and cling to it.
