Actually it would be huge. If people found out they were actually positive, they’d do the right thing. Not everyone mind you.

It baffles me when people say that. Flu season doesn’t stress our medical systems the way Covid has. Lots of respect to all the medical staff taking care of patients without proper PPE or medical equipment. I can’t imagine how difficult and stressful their jobs must be during this.
I’m fortunate enough to work from home, but some of my co-workers are critical needs employees and still reporting to work every day at a federal public park.

yeah we got marked essential and im glad im not out of work but we have to deal with truck drivers that mostly live in the heavily affected areas in texas so it is getting sketchy. I only worry about my kids or wife getting it, not so much me.

For now, we have better supplies. However, it’s gonna run out. I was floated to the covid unit tonight. Gotta say, it’s a bit eery. Hope I’m not floated there often

My brother is one of those employees reporting to work everyday and that’s his biggest fear too, his wife and kids contacting it from him. It’s a difficult time for a lot of people.

Eh it really might not… The same people who think it’s silly still would and still would go out. They would still not believe the reported numbers and take it seriously.
Additionally some of the biggest carriers are asymptomatic people that wouldn’t have been tested anyways. Both of those things are why we had to shut everything down, it’s the only true way to stop the spread. Again, yes it would help, but with the way the US is who knows how much.
We’re doomed.

Lol yup… I think asymptomatic cases are like 80% of cases? Or maybe that’s including mild symptoms… Regardless they had to shut everything down sadly.
Kinda hilarious that world leaders can’t take the time to read up on an emerging crisis when it’s emerging… You know, not a month or two later

And he said he and the “doctor” he’s been listening to, I presume his chief “medical” adviser only found out yesterday?! What kind of Medieval medical system do they have in Georgia? What kind of doctors do they have there? The kind that show up with a bottle of snake oil in one hand, a hacksaw in the other and a horse drawn cart of the dead bodies of the other patients they’ve seen that day? I knew the anti-science crowd was strong down that way but damn.

Several days ago a man hid the fact that he was positive for Covid-19 and went into a maternity ward to see his wife. Then the mother began showing symptoms soon afterward, as well as some hospital staff who have since been quarantined.
You’d think he would do the right thing and stay the F out of there. You’d be wrong.

They may come up with a vacc for covid19, but there’s no cure for people afflicted with stupid.

Also of note are some changes to PvP currencies—notably, Conquest is once again a spendable currency earned through Shadowlands Rated PvP. Players will be able to use Conquest points to purchase specific items of their choice from a vendor in the capital city of Oribos (in an easy-to-find location, naturally). Conquest can also be used to upgrade that gear further (similar to how Benthic gear worked with Manapearls in Rise of Azshara). We’ll have lots more information to share on the details of this system, as well as our broader endgame itemization plans, as the alpha rolls on and we reach max-level content.

It’s a start. I’m not a fan of conquest though and wish they would ditch it. Max a bar once a week and the rest of your time is worthless is not optimal. Make mythic drops a once a week happening, can you imagine the screaming? 
Edit: Though perhaps they are saying conquest will roll over and be able to be applied via the “pearl system”…eh.

Yea I was one of those suggesting benthic system for pvp and the honor gear be the base benthic gear and you upgrade it. I hit the forums hard late last summer pushing the idea here and general discussion. Maybe they used the idea, maybe coincidence but I’m rejoicing nevertheless.
The benthic system played into their rng gearing and time played metrics while maintaining player agency of gearing. This will make it easier to get a full set of base pvp gear with stats you need.
I think it’s a huge win for the pvpers personally.
