Have you ever wondered, like most people have, what a diet of 50% black beans, 25% rice and approximately 10% green tea would do to an old lady?
Well wonder no more cuz we gonna find out! Results coming soon^
^ - if no results come in assume I’m sitting somewhere else if you know what I mean or forgot to come back here or actually find something on my excursion into the wilds of the Gloucester Va Kroger tomorrow that isn’t black beans. I have a lot of black beans and for the life of me I don’t know why
Uhhh, no?
Not sure I want to know. I mean, I like ya, Squeek, but not in that intimate need to know your south of the border biz way.
Help! I’ve pooped myself to such an extreme, fallen and can’t get up! How’s that?

This will be a scientific study! Don’t make guesses as to the results out of hand, we will go where the data takes us. FOR SCIENCE!
Also, going to pull out some of those Apple-chicken sausage links from the freezer because variables make this whole ordea…er, study exciting and such.
Edit:
Dammit!
25 isn’t old…
Oh god I wish but love your attempt
Little dude turned 5 yesterday. Ugh, where does the time go? Seems like it’s disappearing faster and faster. Some kind of witchery - the older you get, the faster time goes by!
Your perception of time is a percent of how long you’ve lived.
A three-year-old will call next month “forever”, a fifty-year-old will say “only three years ago”.
True that, I’ve lived quite a while lol. I remember when I was a kid, seemed like anything I wanted (summer, Christmas) was an eternity away. Now it always seems like it’s happening next week!
One of the benefits of this “time moving faster” phenomenon is that hopefully it speeds up the ending of this whole virus hysteria/lockdown.
WTB a return to everyday normal life, WTB being able to go to a bar or movie theater, WTB being able to simply be out-and-about without constantly “worrying” about every surface I touch
Your memory worsens as you grow older.
Since you forget what’s been happening, it seems like time is passing more quickly.
Right? It’s getting tiring quickly. For me it’s more a worry about people I know. My mom (old and health compromised) my niece (only 8 but has asthma) that kind of thing.
Yesterday when friends and family came over to celebrate little dude’s bday it was “make sure you’re in clean clothes and all washed up before coming”. Seems a horrible thing to say.
I wish this was the case. Senility/dementia doesn’t run in my family. My grandmothers lived into their late 80’s and were sharp as tacks.
There’s a lot of things I’d love to forget…
Yeah it’s already gotten old imo
For me the thing I hate the most is the “constant paranoia” that’s taken hold ever since this virus hysteria took off.
Previously innocent/harmless things - such as touching a door handle at the store or touching a shopping cart - are now something to “worry” about
I just want life to go back to how it was back in February, before all this BS took over the news and started interfering with daily life.
Hey, but at least you get 100% exp bonus…lol.
100% bonus xp in a video game while the real world is going to hell…
Honestly this is much worse than 9/11, it’s bad. There’s a noticeable sense of dread in the air, definitely feels like this will get worse.
In terms of a crisis, it definitely has that potential. Numbers are likely going to be rolling in for awhile. All you can do is try and take care of yourself/family. People are the other problematic side of the equation, if you could trust the public at large, you would be able to readily find toilet paper, disinfectants, etc.
Even if you never set foot outside your home, and rely entirely on take-out/food delivery/online ordering/etc you can still get the virus via the delivery person or mailman. Just today it came out that 6 Amazon warehouse employees tested positive (the people who handle your online orders).
There really is no being “safe” from this, if this virus is as contagious as they say. Supposedly it can stay active on a surface for up to 17 days.
And of course, if any family members are still out and about amongst the general public (working a physical job, running errands, etc), you can get infected that way as well.
I do my work on Capitol Hill in Seattle, we got a protocol going to limit the risk as much as possible. My profession has been newly classified as essential, so for me, gotta go to work.
Primarily I’m the one that leaves and returns to the house. I purchased a bin to throw my work boots in by the front door for when I return. The second I come home, my clothes go in the wash and I take a shower. Whatever I touched on the way in gets disinfected. Is it “safe”, as in 100%? No.
But it’s efforts in containment. That’s about the only aspect you have control over in any of this, just need to exercise it.
