Tht was the first boost I used when it came out, simply because I wanted to bolt people in the face.

Actually had a lot of fun with it, plus affliction and rotting down rbg teams.

Dude is stuck at level 101 I think.

Was glorious. And that … one cq set that was like crazy killer clown is awesome.

That’s what this Lock is at. But I’ve done a bit of rated Bgs so getting 455 gear from the chests. No grind for me except Bgs. And before someone tells me, yes I could get better gear from M+ but eh, not enjoyable to me.

The worst part I’d say is the cloak quest but once it’s done, that’s it. The first week is easy to get to rank 5 or 6. Though for me, I prefer Org week.

Yea the entry to the cloak is a lot, but if I take it piece by piece it wouldn’t be too bad.

Serious questions.

What stage was your alt on running through the quest stuff with Nazjatar?
How many essences did your alt have if any?

I’m wanting to play an alt but I’m afraid it will burn me out and make me quit the game. I boosted a rsham the other day but when I logged in I saw all those quests pop up and it gave me chills and a weak stomach.

Pretty sure I never made it to Naz on the Alliance toon. I had just the basic essence, now I have 3 or 4?

So you opened up nazj and did the cloak questline? How long did this take?

No I never touched Naz. Just did the cloak quest. For me the cloak quest took a couple hours to a few but that’s because I did some quests I didn’t need to. So many quests I forgot which one was only for the cloak

Tbh I have no idea. If I did Naz, it was well before I left for Classic. I did boost a toon and couldn’t get in the heart forge so that makes sense.

Seriously I pretend like shaman was my main in mop but pretty sure I played warlock more. All specs just felt soooo good. Mines sitting at 107 right now

Their shifted forms are actually so nice. I almost swapped mine… But he’s still night elf.

MoP objectively had the worse class design because everything was absurd, especially Warlocks.

Also, reputation progression has always been a thing so let’s not say their design choices in bfa on that is something from bfa, when it’s not.

Lastly, why do you guys keep complaining about the ‘grind’. The grind right now is like non existent for anyone other than high end? I have so many alts and there’s no big issue to get into keys or PVP, this is only a top 5% problem, stop putting those issues on yourself lmao.

Also get used to having some sort’ve grind in every expansion, it’s the way to keep players, playing. Without it, you’d have one less thing to do which would make old content like world quests irrelevant content. It’s a necessary evil, the problem is it not being alt friendly.

You guys should stick to Classic if 8.3 ‘grind’ is too much for you

Can you give an example? I’m struggling to find one where you got a bis piece from rep.

Also it’s not necessarily grinding but the quality of grind. 8.3s grinds are simply not fun even the first time through.

In comparison to legion, I did the suramar campaign on like 5 different alts and I didn’t even care for the nightborne lore.

A BIS piece is very specific, it’s either toon progression or not. That’s the philosophy in the design point. Rep = character progression in some form, it’s always been existent. A bis essence is what you’re referring to is not going to break your gameplay regardless, because you’re not the elite as you’ve said.

BC rep vendors had good pieces for characters, MoP had the black prince rep which was tied to the legendary cloak which was arguably a needed piece for many. AoH had a vendor with many great pieces, and a sweet belt which was BIS for me in PVP at the time.

Ok but once again, there is no grind right now for anyone other than serious progression players.
You can make an alt, get your gear and go have fun in whatever you want to do. Essences mean jack all, just use the basic flame one and upgrade it to the legendary version as it’s very good.
I have hardly no essences, and I’ve quit BFA for the longest here and I do just fine, so I can’t relate to any excuses
