I literally got one item, that was a bare ilvl upgrade. Right corruption though. My dps doubled. Not a legendary, not even a good item, just right RNG corruption. I didn’t get twice as good all of a sudden. Stupid design.
Wtb any previous expansion where you log in and PvP. Doing endless dailies gave no advantage.

If you played MoP, you’d know regardless of the fun classes were broken & had huge outcry hence the changes that came in WoD. If classes were sooooo amazing they wouldn’t of doubled down to fix it (and ruin it even more), it was a huge problem in MoP.
Looking at your toon, it’s obvious you didn’t PVP much at all in MoP soooo obviously you’re unaware of the fundamental issues.

My toon is hardly sub optimally geared, I’m just not a bad player who relies on all these things to be good. You can always strive to kit out your toon, but making bs excuses to why you cant do things is just bad player excuses, simple as that.

You can strive to gear your toon, but the point is that your toon doesn’t need to be decked out and you will do perfectly fine without BiS.
This gear grind that you people whine about is something that you put on yourselves. It isn’t necessary, it isn’t required. If you want to “strive to kit your toon out”, then don’t complain when you have to do more than just complete 4 WQs for it. A grind to be optimally geared has always existed. Literally since day one of Vanilla.
All I need are the vendors to come back so that I can buy the appearances. Last season I missed the cloth chest piece even though I pvped throughout the whole patch and now it’s disappeared from my appearances. It just isn’t fair ! ! !
Earlier got killed by a random, out-of-the-blue Twilight Devastation proc from a VDH while doing a bg on an alt. Checked my combat log and the TD hit me for 129k per tick right before I died.

If I care at all about helping my team as best I can and trying to win I should make an effort to double it yet again. That’s the point. I didn’t get better or worse. The insane grind I’ve been doing made the difference.
To pretend it’s anything less of a grind than any other expansion is comical.

No Numbwat, my opinion that MoP classes were fun, but if I take a backseat I know they were trash. Good class design is in the definitional context of Classes in WoW. MoP no class had a flavour because everyone could do the same stuff. Which = bad class design because it’s not a class

Strangely, this can be bought with a simple BOE item for between 1/4 mill-3.5 mill. I suspect once the token quota has been made they will be correctly adjusted.

I have my BiS essences, I’m 452ilvl, my neck is 76, and I am casual.
Nothing I’ve done would I consider a grind.

Wait til you play with an infinite star and get back to back procs. Or a twisted appendage and 2-3 tentacles spawn and kill something 80-0 while you are in the middle of a cc chain. Certain ones are mini nukes on your gear. I think locks toward the end of the patch will be nearly one shotting with big bolts if they have the right stat increase corruptions.
No one is asking for it to be handed out. Its that the content in 8.3 for us to do to get geared isn’t as fun for me. It feels like the game as a whole has gotten worse every patch this expansion instead of better like in legion. That’s why I remain very skeptical about shadowlands. From 8.0 to 8.3, there hasn’t been anything that has made me think “oh this is getting better.”
I boosted an alt, I don’t expect an alt to be 460 in 1-2 weeks. Its not the gear climb that concerns me. It’s starting with no rep, 0 essences, and farming 16 vessels to upgrade the cloak. Looking at it on paper it doesn’t seem bad at all. Having to experience the extremely boring content again is whats killer.
I’ve got both of these, and sure that can happen but you can also just die from them, Herc and I dueled like 100 times literally, and corruption would screw me by killing me or breaking vital CC. It’s quirky, high risk, high reward gameplay, so it’s not as simple as get these items and destroy everyone lol.
Because it was any funner in Legion to get gear lmao. Was even harder for pvpers to get gear in Legion.

You don’t even need any of these. Every class I play which is a lot, doesn’t need rep for their essences soooo. You don’t even need to upgrade your cloak that much… They’re not that devastating.
Legit buddy, just don’t play, as i’m sure you aren’t just keep it that way until you see things that impress you.
Me being optimistic comes from looking at things properly, I trash BFA hard, I quit for a while to the point I felt so much apathy to this trash expansion that I uninstalled WoW and stopped logging back into bnet. I sat there with my boy reavey & asmongold (3 of the biggest wow lovers reduced to that) playing apex talking about how depressing the state of the game was, but then 8.2 came and showed blizz still can make content good, and then i quit for a while again cause of IRL stuff, and came back for 8.3, a very bare bones patch but lots of promise showing in SL so i’ll get my characters ready for SL then quit again until prepatch.
because Shadowlands is coming out in September, and no last patch in the history of WoW has ever been engaging enough to last 7 months.
